The overall design embodies a smart-casual aesthetic, highlighted by calm navy ceilings that unify the space and a harmonious blend of low materials paired with abundant greenery. Three skylights placed throughout the venue flood the space with natural light during the day, adding an element of openness and highlighting the feature ceiling in each dining area.

The walls incorporate both old and new bricks, skillfully blending the textures to maintain heritage while introducing contemporary design. Three skylights are strategically placed to optimize natural light, reducing reliance on artificial lighting and enhancing the space’s energy efficiency. Bespoke metal panels and shelving with reeded glass are custom-designed, combining precision craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques.

The findings provide insights into creating seamless, well-connected environments in hospitality settings. The design is inspired by the creation of a calm space that evokes the feeling of being in an outdoor courtyard, offering an oasis amidst the surrounding hustle and bustle of one of London’s most vibrant tourist areas.

Under a large skylight, the main dining area is filled with natural light by day and glowing feature lights by night. Central banquette seating, surrounded by greenery, enhances privacy, complemented by brick walls and glass cylinder lights.
