About Nus Nhà ở

Nus là một ngôi nhà ở tọa lạc tại đảo Crete, Hy Lạp. Khối nhà chính hình chữ U được kết hợp với một nhà khách ngầm dưới lòng đất. Cả hai khối công trình đều tối ưu hóa việc đón ánh sáng từ hướng đông nam và thích ứng với góc chiếu thay đổi của mặt trời qua các mùa trong năm. Hai không gian đón nắng, một có hệ thống che nắng cố định và một có rèm chớp xoay cùng tường khối nhiệt, cho phép sưởi ấm và làm mát tự nhiên. Mái xanh, các mặt nước, giếng thông gió và các cửa mái được kiểm soát giúp cải thiện sự thoải mái về nhiệt. Các tấm pin quang điện, máy nước nóng năng lượng mặt trời và hệ thống địa nhiệt giúp giảm thiểu dấu chân năng lượng của công trình.

Unique Properties: The main criteria for the architectural decisions made, were the need for low energy footprint building designs, as well as the views towards pure Cretan nature. Τhe main U shaped residence along with the underground guest house volume, maximize the southeast exposure of the building, while they are taking advantage of the different angle of the sun rays during the seasonal cycles.

Production Technology: For natural heating and cooling, we created two solar spaces, one with fixed shading, one with rotating blinds and a mass wall. Water surfaces on the south walls, the green roof, the hiding of the western light, the vertical ventilation shaft with small openings towards the North and the controlled shading roof openings, lead to thermal comfort conditions. Photovoltaic panels, solar water heaters and the vertical geothermal system, contribute to minimize the building’s ecological footprint.
Inspiration: We believe in the integration of buildings into nature. Humble design tones present with more challenging architectural solutions, that take into account the sustainability and the ecological footprint of our built environment. Furthermore, the Cretan nature and landscape only needs a good frame to be appreciated or no frame at all. And this is what we did here. Minimum sq.meters, natural materials and welcoming volume decisions.
