About Van Gogh's Sunflowers Bông tai

Hoa Hướng Dương của Van Gogh là một đôi bông tai thủ công lấy cảm hứng từ bức tranh tĩnh vật hoa hướng dương. Đôi bông tai được chế tác từ vàng 18 karat, đính đá citrine tự nhiên và kim cương vàng theo kiểu ổ khảm (bezel). Nhiều sắc độ khác nhau của đá citrine vàng tái hiện lại các tông màu của bức tranh. Các viên đá quý xếp chồng lên nhau tạo hiệu ứng ba chiều, giống như những lớp cánh hoa. Bề mặt hoàn thiện dạng nhám với các đường nét tinh tế thể hiện lá cây, trong khi bề mặt đánh bóng thể hiện các cành cây. Hình khối táo bạo mang đến cho thiết kế một vẻ ngoài mang tính điêu khắc.

Unique Properties: Van Gogh’s sunflowers is considered innovative by the use of the yellow spectrum. The sunflower painting are perfectly materialized in the many yellow hues of citrines, the earring innovates by being very colorful using only shades of yellow. The gemstones overlap each other creating a 3D effect seen in flowers and their many layers. A matte finish with lines represents the leaves while a polished finish is used to represent the branches. Its bold shape and its characteristic of making layers of gemstones makes it a work of art.

Design Challenge: Persistent search for different shades of citrine for the different shades of yellow of Van Gogh sunflowers. Gemstones "welded" over gemstones to show the layers of flowers, forming a 3D jewelry. Matte finish with lines to represent the leaves and polished finish to represent the branches.
Research: After extensive research on Van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design. Then research was carried out on the painted tree (understanding of what the painter saw to be inspired). Realized the ideal design of the piece and choice of the ideal materials for execution.
