About W Horse Stud Biệt thự

W Horse Stud là một ngôi nhà nghỉ dưỡng được thiết kế cho khu đất rộng 10.000 mét vuông tại khu vực nông nghiệp Wafra của Kuwait. Ngôi nhà được nâng cao 140 centimet so với mặt đất để mở rộng tầm nhìn ra các bãi quây ngựa xung quanh. Mặt bằng được chia thành hai trục. Một trục chứa chuồng ngựa. Trục còn lại chứa các phòng ngủ, khu vực ăn uống và không gian sinh hoạt rộng lớn hướng ra hồ bơi. Một sân hiên dài 40 mét được che bóng bởi mái nhà đua ra 3 mét để bảo vệ khỏi ánh nắng và cát. Công trình sử dụng các khối vật liệu nhẹ cách nhiệt, kính, kết cấu bê tông và mái thép nhẹ.

Unique Properties: Built on a 10000-m2 site on a farms side of Wafra agriculture area, Kuwait. The house lifted 140 centimeters above the ground to maximize the views of the surrounding horse paddocks. The layout divided into two axes One of them contains the horse stable, while the other dedicated to the bedrooms, dinning and large living area overlocking the swimming pool.
Dimensions & Packaging: The 40m terrace shaded with 3m cantilevered roof increases the usable areas also created to work as a protection from the sun and the sandy weather of the region.

Production Technology: This vacation house, built with light weight thermal insulated blocks, glass, concrete structure, and light weight steel roof system.
Design Challenge: the main challenge was making a villa for both horses and humans under one roof, we have also study horse behavior very well before the design.so that we can determine the partitioning design and limitation.
Research: horse behavior research
Inspiration: The main views from the house are quite turned to the desert landscaping, horses and the swimming pool. Guest and family spaces cover larger area of the house overlocking the swimming pool that surrounded with desert landscaping and horse arenas. We also anticipate the moment when the natural aging of the landscape will make the house blend more into the site and improve the intended privacy with maintaining the views.
