About Salvador Đồng Hồ Trang Trí

Đồng hồ Salvador là phiên bản hiện đại của đồng hồ tan chảy của họa sĩ người Tây Ban Nha Dali. Dự án bắt đầu vào tháng 3 năm 2020, ngay khi bắt đầu đợt khóa đầu tiên. Trong khoảng thời gian này, rất nhiều người trên khắp thế giới cảm thấy thời gian trôi chậm lại. Chất lỏng, thời gian tan chảy đã trở thành nguồn cảm hứng cho thiết kế. Thử thách là tạo ra một đồ vật mong muốn có thể nâng cấp bất kỳ văn phòng tại nhà nào và giúp công việc ở nhà trở nên dễ chịu hơn. Hình dạng đơn giản, tối giản cho phép vật dụng này có chức năng và phù hợp với các phong cách nhà khác nhau.

Unique Properties: Salvador clock is a modern version of the well-known melted clock by Spanish painter Dali.
Simple and minimal shape allows this item to be functional and stylish at the same time.

Production Technology: The clock’s body is made from high quality and lightweight aluminum.
There are two finishing options:
matt black powder coating with classic gold hands.
brushed natural aluminum with black hands.

The choice of material came from the willingness to give the clock a slim and contemporary look.
The choice of a quiet clock mechanism was made to emphasize the perception of time moving at a leisurely pace.
Design Challenge: During the pandemic, people all around the world started to work from home.
The challenge of this project was to create a desirable object that will upgrade any home office and will make the work from home more pleasant.
Research: During the research, I looked for a perfect shape that will be very functional and stable on a shelf while also aesthetic. The design process included 2D hand sketches, paper and cardboard 3D sketches with different shapes and proportions.
Inspiration: The project began on March 2020, at the very beginning of the first lockdown. During this period, lots of people all around the world felt the time has slowed down. Liquid, melted time was the inspiration for Salvador clock.
Project Duration: March 2020 - July 2020

Operation Flow: No installation required. Just place the clock on a shelf and enjoy.
