Nhà khách Đông Hồ Lâm là một nhà khách được xây dựng trên sườn núi phía trên một ngôi làng. Ba mái dốc với độ cao khác nhau phản ánh sự chênh lệch độ cao của khu đất và phân chia bố cục chức năng của không gian nội thất. Các khoảng hở hình thành giữa các mái nhà chạy theo đường nét của cảnh quan tự nhiên. Tông màu xám đậm giúp công trình hài hòa với môi trường xung quanh. Kết cấu chính được làm từ bê tông đổ khuôn. Số lượng phòng nghỉ được giới hạn, và một khu vực công cộng rộng lớn được giữ trống để đơn vị vận hành có thể sử dụng không gian một cách linh hoạt.

- The design concept of the building is simple and clear. We responded to the height difference of the site in the form of pitched roofs and designed a well-bedded residence that is seamlessly attached to the mountain. Although it is a guest house, in the overall functional layout, the number of the guest rooms is quite limited, and a large public area is reserved to provide the operators as much operational flexibility as possible.

- The main structure of this house is constructed by pouring concrete, which poses greater challenges in terms of material transportation and temperature control.
Although the shape of the house is relatively simple, the craftsmanship requirements are relatively high, and this is difficult for the local construction workers. We try to make appropriate adjustments to the construction process to make the construction cost and completion effect effective under the premise of satisfying the design. - Thử Thách Thiết Kế
- The building is located on the mountainside, looking down to the village below, enjoying a luxurious view. Before it was rebuilt, it had been a common residence of the villagers, which was hardly livable due to disrepair. The instructions of the new owners, as well as the legal regulations make it rather clear that the traditional architectural style must be preserved.
We use the classic form to meet the requirements of customers, so that it can be presented in a harmonious natural environment. - Nghiên Cứu
- Looking back to the process of the construction of the building, we realize that this is an unconventional "guest house" architectural project. Upon its completion, people who walk through the village and finally find themselves here can regard it as a spot close to nature which assures them a relaxing halt of their journeys. We look forward to having different groups of people come and go, and leave behind their unique interpretations of the spot.

- In order to maintain the harmony between the building and its natural surroundings, we introduced a dark greyish hue. Three pitched roofs of different heights separate the functional layout of the space, and thereof the gaps formed rhythmically responded to the natural landscape. As the building is located at a certain altitude, an outlook from any given direction brings an interesting view, from up close to a far.
