About Existence Ghế

Existence là một chiếc ghế được thiết kế để tư duy. Chiếc ghế được xem như một tác phẩm kiến trúc xác định một đường biên và để lại không gian cho tâm trí lấp đầy. Hai nguyên mẫu đã được chế tác bằng thép không gỉ. Ngồi trên Existence đòi hỏi sự tập trung và nỗ lực cơ bắp, vì vậy chiếc ghế hạn chế sự thoải mái về thể chất nhằm giải phóng tâm trí. Mỗi chiếc ghế có kích thước 1000 mm chiều rộng, 800 mm chiều sâu và 600 mm chiều cao. Các nguyên mẫu được tạo hình thủ công, với nhiều kỹ thuật khác nhau được điều chỉnh để đạt độ chính xác tuyệt đối.

Unique Properties: Existence chair is a chair for thinking, a piece of architecture defines the edge and leaves space for the mind to fill. There are a pair of prototypes made of stainless steel. The sitting experience requires attention and muscles to participate in. Limiting comfort sets the mind free.

Production Technology: The chair is made of stainless steel.
Design Challenge: Thinking about how to control the uncertainty of handmade, I have a strong passion for adjusting different techniques and getting the exact accuracy.
Research: Collecting Inspirations from myself, Starting with sketching, Making small scale mockups and deciding the design direction, Making real scale prototypes and adjusting design.
Inspiration: I think, therefore I am. Instead of designing a chair for physical comfort, I look for a chair reflecting me and the existence of my mind.
Project Duration: The project started in May 2019 in California and finished production in January 2021 in China.
Operation Flow: The Existence is to sit with people's attention and set their minds free.
