About Ningbo Urban Construction Archives Tòa nhà Lưu trữ

Lưu trữ Xây dựng Đô thị Ninh Ba là một tòa nhà lưu trữ tọa lạc tại thành phố Ninh Ba, tỉnh Chiết Giang, Trung Quốc. Thiết kế diễn giải lịch sử của thành phố như một lịch sử xây dựng. Các công trình được hiểu như những tập hợp của các khối, vì vậy tòa nhà lưu trữ được cấu thành từ các khối xếp chồng lên nhau, kết hợp các đặc tính về không gian và vật liệu. Các khối được phân thành ba loại: trong suốt, đặc và đặc biệt. Diện tích khu đất là 6567 mét vuông, với tổng diện tích sàn 17190 mét vuông trên mười một tầng nổi và 6405 mét vuông trên hai tầng hầm.

Unique Properties: This design hopes to interpret history of Ningbo through a practice of fortification. Base on the understanding of urban and architecture, architects superimpose the two properties of 'space' and material to support the concept of Building Blocks from another new perspective, and this is used as a basic element of design.'Blocks' are divided into three categories: 'transparent', real and special block differently.
Dimensions & Packaging: The total site area is 6567 sqm, which contributes 17190 sqm floor area on the ground and 6405 m2 floor area underground, with 11 floors and 2 floors respectively.

Design Challenge: Archives, which is regarded as an important culture carrier of collecting and preserving history, has abundant historical and cultural significance. Ningbo Urban Development Archives is mainly used to collecting developing history of this city, that it is called “Fortification History”. So, the start of design in this project is how to represent the concepts about fortification.
Inspiration: City is composed by buildings, and buildings are constructed from different building blocks, which have special space and material attributes; hence, the history of city construction can be understood as history of fortification, and Ningbo Urban Development Archives is a collector of this history of fortification indeed. Base on the understanding of the city construction, we superimpose the two properties of 'space' and 'material' to support the concept of 'Building Blocks'.
