About Anah Jewerly Box

Anah is a series of jewelry boxes and travel cases designed for use at home and during travel. The exterior is covered with PU leather, which resists water and stains, while the interior is lined with velvet to protect jewelry. Leather stitching forms a fluted surface inspired by classical columns. The metal parts are made of plated zinc alloy with a Clous de Paris pattern and a faded golden tone. Each box offers several layers, drawers and a lid, so that jewelry can be sorted and stored in separate compartments.

Anah Jewelry Box by Ziel Home Furnishing Technology Co., Ltd presents a comprehensive organizational system that addresses the perennial challenge of jewelry storage through thoughtfully conceived modular design and refined material expression. Working within the tradition of functional decorative arts that traces lineage through European vanity furnishings and Japanese tansu compartmentalized storage philosophy, this collection demonstrates how contemporary industrial design can honor craft traditions while embracing modern manufacturing precision and material innovation. The compositional achievement lies in the systematic visual language applied across multiple scales and configurations, from compact single-tier boxes suitable for travel or modest collections to elaborate multi-compartment systems that rival historical jewelry caskets in organizational sophistication while maintaining contemporary aesthetic restraint. The designer's choice of a predominantly white palette with subtle warm undertones and discrete metallic accents in rose gold tonality suggests an understanding of how neutral foundations allow the stored jewelry itself to provide chromatic vitality while the container maintains visual quiet and domestic adaptability. Particularly accomplished passages include the fluted surface treatment that introduces tactile and visual interest without compromising the clean geometric vocabulary, the ingenious interior organization that maximizes capacity through removable trays and fold-out compartments without creating visual chaos, and the integration of a small mirror that acknowledges practical use scenarios while maintaining material and aesthetic consistency. The technical execution evident in precise corner joints, smooth-operating drawer mechanisms, and carefully considered lid-stay hardware speaks to manufacturing quality and attention to functional detail that elevates these objects beyond mere containers into thoughtfully conceived design solutions. Thematically, the work engages fundamental human impulses toward organization, preservation, and ritualized care for treasured possessions, transforming the mundane act of jewelry storage into an opportunity for daily aesthetic engagement and mindful material interaction. The designer seems to suggest that domestic objects serving practical functions need not sacrifice visual refinement, that storage can be simultaneously efficient and beautiful, and that the vessels we choose to house our personal adornments become extensions of self-care and domestic curation. How might the deliberate act of organizing and storing cherished objects within thoughtfully designed containers transform our relationship to both the possessions and the daily rituals that structure our lives?

Production Technology
The boxes are crafted with PU leather on the exterior, ensuring durability and resistance to water and stains. The interior is lined with velvet, offering an exquisitely soft touch and optimal protection for jewelry. The metal components comprise plated zinc alloy with a unique blend, attaining a distinctive faded golden hue. The structure of the jewelry boxes is fabricated from MDF to provide ample strength and durability. At the same time, the travel cases feature a plastic shell for lighter weight and enhanced crush resistance.
Design Challenge
The creative challenge of Anah jewelry boxes is finding the perfect balance between quality and cost. As their MSRP ranges from around $20 to $60, to achieve this goal, the dimensions of each box are meticulously calculated to ensure they have the maximum capacity without increasing shipping or storage costs too much. The stitching technique is also selected through trial and error to ensure the lines are indistinct yet noticeable, creating a soft fluting surface to the sight and touch.
Project Duration
The Project started in March 2023 in Shenzhen and was completed in September 2024.
Operation Flow
All the jewelry boxes and cases in the Anah series feature multiple compartments; first, they have several layers in the box for categorized storage. The boxes also come with drawers and a lid for better jewelry protection.
