About Avesta Branding System Branding System
The design encapsulates vision, leadership and innovation of the company, while at the same time being a brand focused on growth and sustainability. With a strong and elegant sound, the design embodies the Brazilian corporate real estate market itself, projecting an image of authority and strategy. It combines efficiency and innovation, and is ready to the visual image of a leading company.
Daniel da Hora's Avesta Branding System exemplifies contemporary approaches to comprehensive visual identity design that extend brand expression across multiple dimensional applications while maintaining systematic coherence through carefully calibrated formal relationships. The branding system demonstrates sophisticated understanding of how geometric abstraction can carry architectural associations, the striped vertical logo mark evoking gateway forms, archway structures, and built environment monumentality through economical linear means, establishing immediate conceptual connection to spatial design professions while maintaining sufficient abstraction to function flexibly across diverse contexts and scales. The chromatic strategy anchors the identity in a warm terracotta orange hue that distinguishes the brand within competitive landscapes often dominated by corporate blues and technology grays, this choice suggesting approachability, creativity, and human-centered design thinking while the complementary cool gray tones provide professional restraint and ensure legibility across varied applications, the palette achieving balance between distinctive warmth and professional neutrality. The compositional arrangement presented here functions as brand documentation, demonstrating systematic application across stationery components including business cards bearing contact information and brand marks, rigid packaging suggesting premium presentation contexts, utility items like adhesive tape rolls that extend brand presence into functional domains, and photographic materials showing environmental applications where the identity inhabits architectural contexts, this multi-substrate presentation evidencing the comprehensive nature of contemporary brand systems that must perform across print, dimensional objects, digital interfaces, and spatial environments. The material vocabulary emphasizes tactile quality and production refinement, suggesting substantial card stocks, precision printing, and attention to finish details that communicate professional excellence and design consciousness, these material choices functioning as brand values made tangible through sensory experience. The photographic presentation itself demonstrates sophisticated spatial composition, arranging brand elements in dynamic asymmetrical configuration that generates visual energy while maintaining organizational clarity, the diagonal gesture created by the pencil element activating negative space and creating visual momentum, the carefully controlled lighting establishing volumetric presence through subtle shadow gradation, and the selective focus directing viewer attention according to informational hierarchy. The wood grain surface anchoring the composition provides organic textural contrast to the geometric precision of the brand elements, perhaps suggesting how systematic design thinking can coexist with natural materiality and human-scaled warmth, avoiding the coldness sometimes associated with rigorous geometric systems. The architectural imagery visible on the vertical background element extends the brand narrative into applied contexts, showing how the identity occupies real spatial environments and suggesting the brand's operational domain within built environment sectors, this environmental documentation functioning both as portfolio evidence and as demonstration of brand flexibility across media types. The systematic use of the striped architectural logo across multiple applications evidences strong brand architecture, the mark functioning effectively at various scales from small business card corner placement to larger environmental graphics, maintaining recognizability and impact through simple geometric strength, this consistency creating cumulative brand recognition while allowing contextual variation in color treatment, scale, and compositional relationship. One observes how the identity system balances memorable distinctiveness through its characteristic warm orange and geometric mark with professional versatility through restrained typography, neutral complementary tones, and adaptable compositional frameworks, enabling the brand to project both creative distinction and professional credibility depending on application context and audience, inviting consideration of how contemporary visual identities must navigate multiple expressive registers simultaneously to serve complex organizational communication needs across diverse stakeholder groups and contextual situations.

- As it’s a branding system, we used the regular tools for graphic design and illustration.
- Design Challenge
- By bringing the brand closer to this scenario, the message conveyed is one of solidity, permanence and balance. Just as the basalt hills were sculpted with precision by the action of nature, the brand seeks to reflect meticulous care in every detail of its projects, supporting business strategies on safe and rigorous bases.
Furthermore, the continuous beauty of these formations communicates intelligence and order, attributes that reinforce the company’s positioning as a reliable partner in the creation of spaces planned with vision and creativity.
Inspired by the basalt hills of Ireland, the logo embodies a symbol of robustness, longevity and natural design, aligning with the brand’s core values and its commitment to building solid paths to success for its clients. - Project Duration
- The project started in September 2024 in Recife, Brazil, and it was finished (approval) by January 2025.
- Inspiration
- Because the company will serve as a hub for the Brazilian real estate market, including bringing foreigner investments, the visual choice was inspired by the iconic basalt formations that occurred in Ireland. These natural structures, formed millions of years ago by volcanic processes, symbolize the perfect integration between the strength of nature, the harmony of forms and stability over time.
