About Butterfly And Lady Art Sculpture
Butterfly And Lady is a bronze sculpture that depicts a woman adorned with butterflies. The figure has her eyes closed, suggesting deep thought or dreaming, while butterflies rest on her head and shoulders as symbols of freedom and transformation. The work is cast with the traditional lost wax method. A thermal coloring process gives the bronze surface a marble-like texture, and the butterflies are rendered in a gold-like material for contrast. The sculpture measures 750 by 495 by 476 millimeters and reflects on the relationship between people and nature.
