About Dhvaja Necklace
Dhvaja is a necklace that can be opened to store small keepsakes. The form is inspired by the dhvaja, one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism, which stands for victory and the power to overcome evil. The necklace is made of 18k gold and finished with mirror polishing and beaded edge craftsmanship. Two main parts form the piece: a decorative dhvaja and a sealed container. The dhvaja is gently rotated to detach it from the chain, so items such as a lock of hair, scriptures or letters can be placed inside. The waterproof design allows long-term wear.
