About Green Circ Jewelry Set

Influenced by circular themes in architecture and Eastern traditions, their collection embodies nature's timeless cycles, from birth to renewal. Blending winter's purity with spring's vitality, they achieve a harmonious equilibrium. Unique ring placements and dynamic spiral earrings fuse delicate beauty with sturdy design, fitting for any occasion. Flowing lines and varied stone sizes create a captivating rhythm, while the interplay of green and white stones dazzles with brilliance.

Nima Nazem Zomorodi's Green Circ Jewelry Set exemplifies contemporary jewelry design's capacity to merge geometric clarity with chromatic vibrancy while honoring the circular form as an ancient symbol of wholeness, continuity, and eternal return, presented here through refined craftsmanship that unites verdant green gemstones with brilliant colorless stones in coordinated earring, pendant, and ring that together constitute a harmonious set demonstrating both design unity and wearable versatility. The work participates in jewelry design's enduring dialogue between ornament and architecture, where precious materials become miniature sculptural forms that activate the body as their exhibition context, transforming the human figure into a living gallery for portable art that accompanies its wearer through daily life while marking moments of significance, celebration, and self-presentation. The designer's choice of the open circle or annular configuration establishes immediate visual identity while engaging one of jewelry's most persistent formal vocabularies, the circle having served across cultures and centuries as a fundamental ornamental geometry appearing in everything from ancient Egyptian pectorals to Celtic torcs to contemporary minimalist bangles, suggesting in its endless curve both perfection and infinity, enclosure and embrace, protection and adornment. The alternating pattern of emerald-hued and colorless stones creates rhythmic visual interest while demonstrating sophisticated color deployment, the vivid green reading as fresh, vital, and luxurious against the cool neutrality of the white metal settings, evoking both natural verdure and precious rarity given emerald's historical association with royalty, healing properties in various cultural traditions, and enduring position among the cardinal gemstones alongside diamond, ruby, and sapphire. The technical execution evident in the jewelry's construction suggests accomplished metalwork and stone-setting skills, with each gemstone appearing securely mounted in prong or bezel settings that balance security with maximum light exposure, allowing illumination to penetrate and activate the stones' optical properties, creating the characteristic brilliance and fire in the colorless stones and the more subtle glowing luminosity in the colored specimens. The decision to create a coordinated set rather than individual statement pieces reflects jewelry design's dual impulses toward completeness and modularity, offering wearers the option of unified ensemble presentation or selective deployment of individual pieces depending on occasion, attire, and personal preference, thereby maximizing versatility while maintaining design coherence across the collection. The scale of the pieces, as evidenced in their presentation on the human figure, suggests wearable proportions that command presence without overwhelming, suitable for both formal occasions and elevated everyday wear, occupying that nuanced territory between subtle accent and bold statement that characterizes successful contemporary jewelry design. The photographic presentation itself merits consideration as an integral aspect of the work's total aesthetic achievement, with the dramatic black ground and carefully controlled lighting transforming product documentation into compelling portraiture that honors both the jewelry and its wearer, suggesting the pieces' capacity to enhance and complement human beauty rather than merely decorating or overwhelming it, establishing a collaborative relationship between craft object and living subject. The model's contemporary styling and confident presentation situate the jewelry within current fashion discourse while the pieces' classical circular geometry and traditional precious materials link them to jewelry's historical continuity, creating temporal layering that speaks simultaneously to innovation and tradition, novelty and timelessness. One might observe how the jewelry's placement on ear, throat, and hand activates traditional adornment zones that carry cultural significance across societies, these body sites having served as ornamental focal points throughout human history, suggesting the designer's engagement with both aesthetic and anthropological dimensions of personal adornment. The work invites contemplation of jewelry's unique position among designed objects as items meant for intimate bodily contact, carried against skin, moving with the wearer's gestures, catching light with each turn and motion, thereby creating dynamic visual experiences that shift with time, position, and illumination rather than remaining static as wall-mounted or pedestal-bound artworks do, and consideration of how precious materials and skilled craftsmanship transform personal adornment into lasting treasures that may accompany individuals through significant life passages and potentially endure across generations as heirlooms carrying memory and meaning beyond their material and aesthetic value.

Production Technology
Crafted from white diamond stones with a brilliant cut certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and Colombian emeralds featuring a rare cut, each piece is meticulously set on bases made of 18-carat gold.
Design Challenge
Challenges arose during both the design and production phases. Sourcing emeralds of consistent quality and size posed initial hurdles, as did devising a method to construct the gold settings that ensured both durability and aesthetic appeal. By reimagining the setting as spherical gold cups interconnected by shared clasps, the design achieved both physical cohesion and visual elegance.
Project Duration
The project was designed and produced in Tehran, Iran, in 2024.
Operation Flow
The design exudes a graceful flow, accentuated by the gradual enlargement of the stones, evoking a sense of dynamism and continuity. The juxtaposition of green and white stones enhances their individual brilliance, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow.
Research
Extensive research was conducted to refine the design. Iterative sketches and prototypes were developed, gradually evolving the size and arrangement of stones. Modifications were made to the gold framework to accommodate the unique characteristics of the stones. The final design incorporates four gold clasps, providing both structural integrity and a minimalist aesthetic.
Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the circular form prevalent in architecture and Eastern culture, it symbolizes endless cycles such as birth, death, and the perpetual succession of seasons, narrating the tale of regeneration. Additionally, it reflects the contrast found in nature between the winter's white snow and the spring's green foliage, blending these hues harmoniously.
