About Hongqi E-HS9 Full Electric Car
Hongqi E-HS9 is a full electric sport utility vehicle. The exterior follows a design language named Shang Zhi Yi. A flag emblem is set into the upright waterfall front face, which gives the car a clear family identity. Chrome trim around the C and D pillars is inspired by a Chinese classical ring fish totem, and charging indicator lights are embedded in the trim. The taillights combine vertical and horizontal lines for easy recognition. A protective structure of high strength steel covers the sides of the battery, and the hidden door handles open when a hand comes close.
CHINA FAW GROUP CO., LTD.'s Hongqi E-HS9 Full Electric Car emerges from a distinguished lineage of ceremonial and executive vehicle design, here reimagined for an era of sustainable mobility without sacrificing the gravitas and presence expected of flagship automotive offerings. The vehicle's formal vocabulary synthesizes heritage-conscious design elements with forward-looking technological expression, most notably in the striking vertical grille treatment that reinterprets traditional automotive iconography through a contemporary sculptural lens, its closely-spaced vertical bars creating a visual rhythm that suggests both strength and refined elegance. The compositional mastery evident in this studio presentation demonstrates sophisticated understanding of automotive photography conventions while transcending mere documentation to achieve something approaching portraiture, treating the vehicle as a subject worthy of contemplative examination rather than simply functional specification. Technically, the image rewards sustained attention through its nuanced handling of surface reflection, the way light pools and flows across compound curves revealing the precision of panel stamping and the quality of paint application with equal clarity. The color strategy proves particularly noteworthy, employing a restrained pearlescent white that shifts subtly between warm ivory in highlighted passages and cooler silver-gray in shadow, while the singular crimson vertical accent introduces chromatic energy without disrupting the essential serenity of the presentation. - Hongqi E-HS9 adopts a brand-new design language of "Shang Zhi Yi". Embedding the flag from the front cover into the straight waterfall front face shows the extremely noble aesthetics and family style. The chrome-plated decoration surrounded by C and D pillars is inspired by Chinese classical totem ring fish, and embedded charging water indicator lights enhance strength and sense of technology; The taillight design blends vertically and horizontally, which is elegant and highly recognizable.

- A large number of technologies such as world's first intelligent driving, AR-HUD, and wireless charging of power batteries have been applied, so people can easily face different road conditions while driving. Equipped with a high-performance ternary lithium-ion power battery, it can reach an acceleration time of 4.8 s for 100 kilometers, and up to 700 kilometers of NECD cruising range. Independent vocal regions and seven-screen linkage can meet independent entertainment needs.

Solution: Hongqi E-HS9's original full-coverage side battery protection structure is made of ultra-high strength hot-formed steel, which absorbs energy inside the threshold and supports the floor transversely to ensure complete structure and comprehensive battery protection. Cooperate with the double-layer protection of the passenger restraint protection system in the car to fully guarantee the living space in the car. - Project Duration

- Equipped with Bluetooth digital key, users can use app to remotely control cars.
When the hand approaches the door handle, the hidden handle pops up automatically.
Each passenger can choose his favorite entertainment scene or interact with multiple screens by touching the HD screen.
When driving, the navigation and driving assistance information can be projected into the actual environment 7.5 meters away from the front windshield by turning on VR real-life navigation with one button. - Research

Research objective: To build a pure electric intelligent SUV with safety and comfort
Research methods: Really simulate the rigorous and complicated collision test-face the right rear row of the vehicle hitting the rigid column, then the same vehicle hitting the left front row again, and the serial collision accident after the vehicle lost control, and finally successfully passed the challenge. - Inspiration
