About Horizon Below 75cm Infant Daycare Center
Horizon Below 75cm is a public daycare center designed for infant care in a rural township in Yilan County. Early childhood covers three stages: newborn, infant and toddler, and each stage brings different sensory development. The height of the facade openings is calibrated between 45 and 75 centimeters, so the outside world can be seen from a child's own eye level. The building covers a floor area of 862.03 square meters. Modern architecture is combined with local materials suited to the local climate, which simplifies construction and keeps maintenance low.

- Reshaping the Rural Daycare
In contrast to urban areas, rural regions often face a shortage of public daycare institutions, daycare is handled personally. It is essential to address the necessity for establishing adequate facilities in rural areas with utmost priority. This project stands as the first newly constructed public daycare facility in Yilan with a primary focus on infant care, and a mission to provide health and childbirth education for expecting parents and nurturing environments. - Image Credits
