About Jing Yang Chun Wu Yun Liqueur Packing Boxes Protection

Jing Yang Chun Wu Yun Liqueur is a packaging design created for a liqueur brand. The box is made of paper and measures 180 by 110 by 330 millimeters. The artwork is formed by splashed ink, which shapes the fierce image of a tiger. The scene depicts the classic story of Wu Song fighting a tiger, taken from the novel Water Margin. Motifs recalling blue and white porcelain are combined with the ink image to add a distinct character. Monochrome printing is used, which keeps printing costs relatively low.

Inspiration

Water Margin, one of the four classics, outlines many lifelike images of ancient heroes with its superb artistic strokes. One of them is that Wu Song killed the tiger. It is said that Wu Song drank eighteen bowls of spirits before the adventure, breaking the merchant's "three bowls don't pass the mountain" propaganda
