About K Series Robotic Pool Cleaner
K Series is a robotic pool cleaner designed for extended autonomous operation in residential pools. Infrared and IMU sensors support a three-dimensional path algorithm, so the cleaner maps the pool and adjusts the route around obstacles instead of moving at random. AI Inverter power management allows up to 15 hours of continuous operation and up to three weeks of standby. The hydrodynamic polymer body is finished in automotive lacquer that resists ultraviolet light and chlorine. A holographic touch interface is used to start the robot and to set scheduled cleaning cycles.
The K Series Robotic Pool Cleaner by iGarden represents a sophisticated intersection of biomimetic industrial design thinking and contemporary consumer robotics, situating this autonomous maintenance device within broader conversations about domestic automation, labor-saving technology, and the aesthetic integration of functional machines into residential environments, drawing upon design traditions that emerged from late twentieth-century product design movements emphasizing organic form language, user-centered interface design, and material honesty while projecting forward into twenty-first-century expectations for intelligent, self-directed household systems. The compositional and chromatic achievements of this design demonstrate notable sophistication in balancing technical requirements with aesthetic consideration, as evidenced by the flowing, curved primary housing that disguises the mechanical complexity within while maintaining visual approachability through soft, rounded edges that avoid threatening angularity, and the selection of vibrant, warm vermillion red as the dominant color speaks to strategic brand differentiation within a product category often dominated by cooler blues and institutional grays, suggesting energy, vitality, and confident visibility that allows the device to function as present design object rather than apologetically hidden utility. Technical facility appears evident in the precise integration of multiple material systems—the glossy injection-molded housing suggesting premium polymer formulation and finishing processes, the substantial rubberized treads communicating functional grip and durability through their pronounced ribbing and matte surface texture, and the cleanly recessed digital interface incorporating contemporary LED indicator vocabulary that provides operational feedback without visual clutter—all resolved into a compact, horizontally-oriented form that appears both purposeful and refined, measuring dimensions appropriate to residential pool applications while maintaining visual presence that rewards contemplation as designed object. The work seems to explore questions of how autonomous technologies might inhabit domestic spaces with aesthetic consideration rather than merely functional presence, inviting reflection on the evolving relationship between humans and self-directed machines, particularly those that perform repetitive maintenance tasks traditionally requiring human attention and physical labor, and the design appears to celebrate the possibility of technological assistance that operates quietly and competently without demanding constant oversight or intervention. Formal relationships to aquatic creatures—particularly the armored, segmented bodies of water beetles or the streamlined profiles of marine animals—suggest biomimetic inspiration that seems appropriate given the device's operational environment, while the substantial treaded wheels reference terrestrial locomotion systems adapted for underwater application, creating visual interest through the juxtaposition of familiar mechanical elements configured for unfamiliar contexts, and the overall aesthetic seems to position the work within contemporary design movements valuing material authenticity, functional transparency, and the honest expression of purpose through form. One might observe how the design negotiates visibility and discretion, choosing bold coloration that makes the device easily locatable during operation yet maintaining modest scale and organic form that integrate visually within aquatic environments, and viewers are invited to consider how our expanding relationship with autonomous domestic systems might benefit from thoughtful aesthetic consideration that honors both functional requirements and our human desire for beauty, order, and visual harmony within our daily environments.

- Production Technology
- The core features a hydrodynamic polymer body finished in automotive lacquer that resists UV and chlorine. Environmental perception relies on advanced infrared and IMU sensors. The chassis uses a track drive system, providing excellent obstacle-crossing capability. Power is managed by a high density lithium battery and AI Inverter system. The user interface utilizes a Holographic Touch Interface. A 200 percent Turbo mode delivers massive suction.
- Design Challenge
- The core engineering challenge was integrating massive battery capacity without ruining the sleek hydrodynamic profile. We solved this by pairing a high energy core with our proprietary AI Inverter technology adaptively reducing power consumption. An external challenge was ensuring the beautiful exterior could survive harsh pool chemicals. We overcame this by borrowing techniques from the auto industry applying automotive lacquer for extreme UV and chlorine resistance.
- Project Duration
- The project commenced in January 2024 in Shenzhen, China, and the product was officially launched in Las Vegas, United States, during CES 2025. Retail availability across major e-commerce platforms in North America and Europe begins in June 2025, aligning with the peak summer usage season.
- Operation Flow
- Daily operation is entirely wire free and highly intuitive via the Holographic Touch Interface. Users drop the robot into the pool and the smart system maps the environment autonomously using a 3D path algorithm. Advanced sensors precisely identify obstacles and adjust routes. With the AI Timer users can set scheduled cleaning cycles as easily as setting an alarm. Extreme battery efficiency allows it to remain on standby for three weeks.
- Research
- We conducted global field research evaluating pool maintenance pain points. Testing revealed current robots clean randomly miss spots and are too ugly to leave in luxury pools. Users demanded a beautiful solution with massive battery life. This insight drove our sports car industrial design and sensor navigation innovations. By utilizing an AI Inverter to operate for up to 15 hours it multiplies cleaning efficiency making backyard maintenance effortless and stylish.
- Inspiration
- Inspiration stems from the frustrations of pool owners dealing with ugly inefficient cleaners requiring daily charging. Guided by the Artful Living Technology philosophy we fused sports car aesthetics with automotive paint to create an ambient art piece. By combining smart sensor navigation with AI Inverter power allocation we ended battery anxiety forever creating a zero management ecosystem that elevates poolside elegance.
