About MX Dynamic System
MX Dynamic is a modular room in room system created for offices, education spaces, and commercial venues. The system is built from standardized components such as ceilings, floors, doors, and walls, which can be combined and rearranged like building blocks. Interior and exterior panels use a magnetic latch system, so single parts can be upgraded, replaced, or reused. Materials include ecofriendly fabrics, aluminum alloy, and certified panels. An intelligent management platform monitors usage and supports remote booking. Assembly can be completed within hours, reducing labor and material waste.
MUSEPoD's MX Dynamic System, recipient of the Silver A' Design Award for Quality and Innovation, emerges from the contemporary discourse surrounding adaptive workplace environments and the evolving relationship between spatial design and human productivity. The visualization presents a comprehensive ecosystem of modular architectural and furniture elements that collectively address the multifaceted needs of modern organizational life, from concentrated individual work to spontaneous collaboration and formal meeting requirements. The technical achievement evident in this system lies in its apparent capacity for infinite configurability within a coherent design language, where each component from the smallest stool to the largest enclosed pavilion shares formal DNA through consistent material palettes, proportional relationships, and detail resolution. The central capsule-form structure commands particular attention through its sophisticated integration of transparent and opaque surfaces, its distinctive gold-trimmed roof profile, and its dual-sided functionality offering both enclosed meeting space and casual counter seating. Surrounding this anchor element, the composition reveals a thoughtful gradation of privacy levels, from fully enclosed pods rendered in soft green and rose tones to semi-private workstations with integrated storage to completely open collaborative zones featuring colorful geometric floor coverings and casual seating arrangements. The inclusion of biophilic elements, notably the mature tree within a circular upholstered planter and the verdant potted plants distributed throughout, suggests an understanding of how natural elements contribute to workplace wellbeing. The timber pergola structure at left introduces warmth and human scale while providing definition to an outdoor-adjacent zone. One might observe how the visualization itself serves as both documentation and aspiration, presenting not merely a collection of products but a complete environmental philosophy that positions flexibility, aesthetic coherence, and human-centered design as foundational values. The viewer is invited to consider how such thoughtfully integrated systems might transform their own spatial experiences.

- Production Technology
- The interior and exterior panels use a magnetic latch system, making them upgradable, replaceable, and reusable.
The system uses recyclable materials such as ecofriendly fabrics, aerospace grade aluminum alloy, and FSC certified panels. The 6063 T5 and 3C tempered glass ensure structural durability and prolong the lifecycle of spaces through flexible reconfiguration and material recovery. Mass prefabrication and onsite modular assembly further cut construction noise and material waste. - Design Challenge
- The system uses standardized modular components including ceilings, floors, doors, and walls, so users can freely arrange it like building blocks. It supports rapid setups from single person private work pods to large multiperson spaces. The modular design offers high mobility and simplifies installation, adapting to interior styles, site constraints, and usage requirements. With smart management and dynamic space design concepts, it can be set up within hours, reducing labor and material costs.
- Project Duration
- Designed and developed in Beijing in October 2020, the project was launched in Shanghai, China in June 2024.
- Operation Flow
- The intelligent management platform monitors real time data like usage rates, duration and peak hours. Integrated with enterprise scheduling systems like OA and Outlook, it supports remote booking and resource allocation, fundamentally reducing space idleness. Equipped with ventilation, lighting control, ambient music and scene mode switching, plus voice activation and AI video conferencing, the system delivers a personalized comfortable experience, responding precisely to needs of users.
- Research
- Inflexible traditional spaces are slow and costly to renovate, hardly adapting to the rapid changes in modern offices and commercial venues. Combining prefabrication technology with standardized intelligent manufacturing process, the system was developed. Its core flexible modular standardized units, supported by a global warehousing and distribution network, make it ideal for office renovations, classroom conversion, commercial setups and mobile medical care and portable outdoor applications.
- Inspiration
- The MX Dynamic Room in Room System draws inspiration from prefabricated architecture as well as magic cubes and building blocks. It transforms spaces into modular prefabricated rooms that can be freely combined and reconfigured. Its open and adaptable structure allows spaces to be rearranged for endless possibilities, while individual components can be independently updated or replaced throughout the lifecycle of the system, extending its service life and minimizing maintenance costs.
