About Ut5 Electric Scooter

Ut5 is an electric scooter designed for urban commuting. The form takes inspiration from supercars, with a forward-leaning silhouette, a wide stance and racing graphics. A full-metal frame provides rigidity, and the body is finished with a multi-layer paint that contrasts matte gunmetal gray with bright metallic silver. A dual-motor drive, a dual-suspension system and wide-diameter tires improve handling. A modular external battery extends the range. At the front, a steel-reinforced tube serves as a carry handle when the scooter is folded, and a steel cable lock secures parking.

Within the expanding landscape of personal electric mobility, this work emerges as a sophisticated expression of contemporary industrial design philosophy that balances functional engineering requirements with refined aesthetic sensibility. The Ut5 Electric Scooter by Navee Technology Co., Ltd. demonstrates remarkable achievement in the integration of complex mechanical systems within a cohesive visual language that communicates both technological capability and approachable elegance. The designers appear to have engaged thoughtfully with the challenge of making engineering visible and comprehensible, employing strategic color accents to highlight suspension articulation points and braking systems in ways that transform functional necessity into visual celebration. The dual-wheel suspension configuration suggests careful attention to rider comfort and terrain adaptability, while the generous pneumatic tire specification indicates commitment to ride quality over mere cost efficiency. The proportional relationships between deck length, handlebar height, and wheel diameter reveal sophisticated ergonomic consideration, creating a stance that appears both stable and agile. Material selections demonstrate nuanced understanding of how surface finish communicates quality, with the interplay between brushed aluminum, matte polymers, and glossy mechanical components creating visual interest through textural variety while maintaining chromatic coherence. The restraint of the predominantly neutral palette allows the carefully placed red accents to function as a signature element that aids visual comprehension of the vehicle's mechanical architecture. This work invites contemplation of how thoughtful design can elevate utilitarian objects into expressions of care and intention, transforming daily mobility into an experience of considered interaction with well-crafted machinery.

Unique Properties
The UT5 brings a full supercar aesthetic into an electric scooter for the first time. It is not a superficial transplant of styling cues, but a holistic reimagination—from the aerodynamic profile and wide-arched stance to racing graphics—turning the fantasy of "road-hugging flight" into a tangible riding. The front integrates a steel-reinforced tube that doubles as a carry handle when folded, paired with a steel cable lock for secure parking, unifying theft prevention and structural aesthetics.
Dimensions & Packaging
The UT5 features a high-performance dual-motor setup for robust power output and long-range capability. Its dual-suspension system and wide-diameter tires improve handling over varied surfaces. A modular external battery provides further range extension. The body's folding mechanism balances structural integrity and portability. The vehicle also includes an intelligent lighting system and integrated rear turn signals to ensure safety during nighttime rides.

Production Technology
Built on a full-metal frame for rigidity and long-term resilience, the UT5's body is finished through a multi-layer painting technique that contrasts matte gunmetal gray with bright metallic silver. At the front, the structural components double as a carry handle, blending functional engineering with visual coherence. The folding mechanism is also ergonomically refined, allowing the scooter to be stowed and carried with ease.
Design Challenge
The challenge lay in how to pack supercar-like presence and performance in a compact footprint. Inspired by supercar aesthetics, we developed a forward-leaning profile, racing graphics, and an extended deck to emphasize muscularity and motion. The flared footrests and lowered battery bay deliver a low-center-of-gravity, wide-wheelbase layout. The pioneering handlebar design merges decorative appeal with structural function, overcoming spatial constraints and enabling secure locking.
Project Duration
The project will finish in March 2026 in Suzhou.
Operation Flow
A high-definition display keeps essential ride information clearly visible. The intelligent lighting system auto-adjusts brightness based on the environment, enhanced by turn signals and brake light cues. Swappable external batteries extend range on demand. A dual-suspension setup smooths out bumps and irregularities. The optimized folding mechanism enables fast storage—reinforced steel tubing in the folded position allows easy hand-carrying, paired with a steel cable lock for secure parking.
Research
The UT5 seeks to translate the sensory value of supercars into the everyday experience of personal urban mobility. Its design carries forward supercar aesthetics, striking an engineering balance between flowing contours and structural integrity, while enhancing stability with a low-center-of-gravity stance. This shapes an urban mobility space that combines high performance, environmental responsibility, and emotional resonance.
Inspiration
Inspired by the aerodynamic speed-sculpted artistry and visual dynamism of supercars, the UT5 features a forward-leaning silhouette shaped with ergonomic intent, blending striking looks with refined control. It aims to translate this thrilling sensory experience from the race track into city streets, transforming urban commuting from a mundane routine into a spirited journey alive with energy and discovery.
