About Gloria Umsesane, Isongo sesandla

I-Gloria liqoqo lemisesane elibandakanya umsesane kunye nesongo sesandla. Uyilo lukhuthazwe yi-halo, umsesane okhanyayo abaziyi bemifanekiso abawupeyintayo ngeentloko zeengcwele njengophawu lobulungisa. Iindlela eziphambili zomsesane kunye nomzimba wesongo sesandla zibunjwe ngesandla ngocingo. Amatye nawo enziwe ngesandla ngezinto zendalo, ngaphandle kwemibala yeekhemikhali okanye izinto ezongezelelweyo, ukwenzela ukuba amatye akwazi ukubuyela kwindalo. Ezi zinto zinokunxitywa ngokwahlukeneyo okanye zidityaniswe, ukwenzela ukuba imo kunye nomsebenzi zikwazi ukutshintsha. Injongo kukuveza ukuphakama komoya womntu ngesinto esinokunxitywa.

Production Technology: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
Design Challenge: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
Research: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
Inspiration: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
Project Duration: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
