Uphando: For this collection, extensive research was conducted on the history and symbolism of peace and freedom across various civilizations. In the jewelry engineering phase, premium materials were carefully analyzed, leading to the selection of yellow gold, platinum, and yellow and white diamonds to achieve a harmonious balance of beauty, durability, and conceptual depth. Additionally, ergonomic studies and user experience analysis informed the development of a versatile, adaptive design.
Inkuthazo: This design is a poetic homage to peace, resilience, and the unyielding human spirit, inspired by two timeless symbols: the olive branch and the dove. Throughout history, the olive branch has represented harmony and hope, while the dove embodies peace and liberation. The chains on the dove’s feet symbolize obstacles, yet its ascent with an olive branch in its beak reflects the unwavering hope of overcoming adversity and achieving true peace.
