Dragon איז אַן אינעווייניקסטער רעסטאָראַן געלעגן אין אַ געביידע פֿאַר פֿינאַנציעלער טעכנאָלאָגיע־ביוראָען אין ביי׳זשינג. דער דיזיין דעקט 2500 קוואַדראַט־מעטער און זוכט אַ רויִקע אַטמאָספֿער באַזירט אויף נאַטירלעכע עלעמענטן. אַ הויפּט אַרויסרוף איז געווען אַז 80 פּראָצענט פֿונעם עס־פּלאַץ ליגט אונטער דער ערד און באַקומט קיין נאַטירלעכע ליכט נישט. נאַטור ווערט דעריבער סימולירט. אַ וואַסערפֿאַל און אַ באַסיין זײַנען געשאַפֿן אין געגאָסן בעטאָן מיט דיגיטאַלער טעכנאָלאָגיע, און קופּערנע קאַטשקעלעך זעען אויס ווי זיי שווימען אויף דער אויבערפֿלאַך. פּריוואַטע עס־צימערן דערמאָנען אין דער פֿאָרעם פֿון אַ טאָל, מיט געוויקסן און סעזאָנען, און סימולירטע ליכט שטיצט די פֿאַרמאַכטע ראַיאָנען.

Unique Properties: The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

Research: cast concrete. simulated natural light
Inspiration: Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.
Project Duration: 2019-2020, Beijing
Operation Flow: Even though it is underground, people like its environment and feel good because of the simulation of light and the nature.
