关于 Gloria 戒指、手镯

Gloria是一个包含戒指与手镯的珠宝系列。其设计灵感源自光环——艺术家绘于圣者头顶、象征美德的璀璨光圈。戒指的主指环与手镯的主体均由金属线手工塑形而成。宝石同样以天然材料手工制作,不使用化学色料或添加物质,因而这些石材可以重归自然。各件作品既可单独佩戴,亦可组合搭配,从而实现形态与功能的变化。其用意在于以可佩戴之物,表达人类精神的升华。

生产技术: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
设计挑战: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
研究: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
灵感: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
项目周期: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
