关于 Ryo 扶手椅

Ryo是一款以单一连续形态塑造的扶手椅。起伏的曲线自坐面延伸至靠背，形成一个不间断的环形。设计的起点源于一个疑问：常见的家具能否呈现更为自由的形态？这一复杂的三维曲面在制作上颇具难度，最终通过使用弹性面料得以实现。这款扶手椅宽725毫米、深730毫米、高800毫米。弧形壳体包裹着坐于其上的人，为空间增添了一份雕塑般的意趣。

生产技术: Creating the shape of the tertiary surface proved extremely challenging. It was achieved by employing stretch fabric.
设计挑战: Expressing the form of the cubic surface and realising it while utilising the engineers' skills proved extremely challenging. Through repeated discussions, we continued to seek the correct solution until completion was achieved.
灵感: This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the armchair in a freer form? The idea expanded from the seat to back, the undulations creates an uninterrupted loop.

项目周期: The project started in Apr. 2020 in Tokyo and finished in Jan. 2021 in Tokyo, and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in June 2022.
