About Gloria Indandatho, Isongo

I-Gloria iqoqo lezicwazicwazi elihlanganisa indandatho nesongo. Umklamo ugqugquzelwa yi-halo, indandatho ekhanyayo abadwebi bayidwebela ngenhla yamakhanda abangcwele njengophawu lobuhle. Izinhlangothi eziyinhloko zendandatho kanye nomzimba wesongo zibunjwa ngezandla ngentambo yensimbi. Amatshe nawo enziwa ngezandla ngezinto zemvelo, ngaphandle kwemibala yamakhemikhali noma izinto ezengezwe, ukuze amatshe akwazi ukubuyela emvelweni. Izinsimbi zingagqokwa ngokwehlukana noma zihlanganiswe, ngakho isimo nomsebenzi zingaguqulwa. Inhloso ukuveza ukuphakama komoya womuntu ngento engagqokwa.

The stones in this collection are made out of unique, environment friendly and completely natural materials.

Production Technology: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
Design Challenge: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
Research: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
Inspiration: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
Project Duration: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
