I-Nina & Beni yisihlalo sokhuni oluqinile esigqugquzelwe yizimo zezakhiwo zezikebhe zokhuni. Imicu emibili egotshwe ngomusi iyeleleka ngaphezu kwesihlalo, isebenza kuqala njengemilenze, bese iba yizindawo zokubeka izingalo, ekugcineni izibumbe endaweni yeqolo. Isihlalo senziwe ngokhuni lwe-ash, i-cherry, i-oak noma i-walnut oluvela emahlathini atholakala ngendlela esimeme, futhi sigcotshwe ngamafutha nangamawaksi emvelo. Izifanekiso ezisikwe ngomshini wama-axis amahlanu ziqondisa ukugoba ngomusi kanye nokuhlanganiswa kwemicu yokhuni. Isihlalo esihlalwayo siyakhishwa futhi siyashintshaniswa. - Two steam-bent strips cantilever over the seat to serve first as legs then armrest and finally mold to the lumbar area. The Nina & Beni chair is made from 100% sustainably sourced forests.

- To achieve the complex geometry of the Nina & beni chair we use a 5 axis CNC to cut 2 molds which we then use to steam bend the solid wood strips to their form. We then use another set of cnc-cut counter molds to make the 3d lamination.

- Sustainability is my design objective.
I use wood because it is the best short carbon cycle material, the complex shapes are steam-bent so as to create as little waste as possible.

- Inspired by the efficient yet beautiful forms of wooden naval structures. Boat building achieves aerodynamic forms that take advantage of the trees grain with little waste.
