關於 Time Book 書擋

《時間之書》係一款設計用於書枱或書架上嘅書擋。每個書擋都由手工打磨嘅水晶玻璃磚製成。表面以特製油墨絲網印刷，並經高溫固化處理。水晶玻璃嘅高密度令書擋喺使用時保持穩固。呢個設計喺功能、造型同物料上都貫徹極簡風格，好似一件書形雕塑咁。造型清晰咁展現咗功能。印刷文字採用Quinsay Parto字體。書脊上嘅MMXIX字母係羅馬數字，代表2019年。

獨特屬性: Bookends are made by hand-polished crystal glass blocks. Special ink was screen printed on the surface and cured at high temperature. The high density of crystal glass gives them perfect stability when in use.
Time Book is minimalistic in terms of function, form and material, it’s like a book-shaped sculpture. The function is clearly presented by its form.
The text on the book uses Quinsay Parto typeface designed by Time book’s designer. The “MMXIX” on the book spine is the Roman numeral writing of “2019”.

設計挑戰: Designers wish to keep their design minimalistic in terms of function, form and material. Time Book is like a book-shaped sculpture. The function is clearly presented by its form.

靈感: Time Book is inspired by Marquez’s novel. The opening of “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is printed on Time Book. It is the beginning of a great novel.
項目時長: The project started in April 2018 and finished in December 2018 in Hangzhou(China), and was exhibited in Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai in February 2019.
操作流程: Time Book can be placed on a desk or a bookshelf. The high density of crystal glass gives them perfect stability when it is used.stability when in use.
