關於 Erhu 二胡椅

二胡椅嘅設計靈感源自二胡呢種中國傳統弦樂器。呢個設計以民族文化作為現代家具嘅語言,探索當代中式風格。結構簡潔,只有兩個部分:座面同椅腿。椅背、座面同前腿由一整塊彎曲膠合板一體成型,喺預製模具中壓製而成。表面貼有白蠟木同胡桃木飾面,椅腿則以胡桃木製成。後腿嘅造型呼應咗明式家具中馬蹄形腿嘅特徵,線條曲線貼合人體曲線。

獨特屬性: Inspired by Erhu, a traditional Chinese classical instrument, the design incorporated national culture as a language of modern furniture, exploring a new style of contemporary Chinese furniture.
The structure is so simple that there are only two parts: seat surface and legs. The chair back, seat surface and front leg are made of curved plywood as a whole, and the three dimensional seating space is completed with two dimensional curves fitting the shape of the human body.

生產技術: The integrated shape of the seat surface, chair back and front leg is completed by pressing the curved plywood in a premade mold.
The surface used ash wood and walnut for veneering. The legs are made of walnut.
