Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?
After graduating on Faculty of Applied Arts, Department of Interior Architecture, in 2010 she founded WOOD MOOD DESIGN, a solid wood furniture line of product, for which she received several awards, among which several international ones.
How did you become a designer?
My grandfather is Carpenter, my dad too, so all my life I was in production of solid wood. When I think about furniture I think about solid wood furniture. I ,so pose, that all that bring me to design.
Which emotions do you feel when designing?
Pension. When I have some idea, I can not stop, until I find hove to make it.
What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?
After graduating from high school (department of natural sciences and mathematics) in 2005 I went to study design. So, in my design is lot of geometry, I think because of that. On the other hand, I really like to read. Lot of books, that I read made influence on me.
What is your day to day look like?
I start my working day at 7 p.m. I tray to finish it at 4 a.m. But often I stay longer. How I already sad, when I have good idea I can not stop until I finished it.
How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?
I do not really care about trends. I think that I have my own personal design style. I get my inspiration from nature, geometry and books. So, I think, that is trends for all times.
How do you know if a product or project is well designed? How do you define good design?
I think that good design defined form, function and construction. So, when I design I think about this three things. But, on the other hand, when I finished something, lot of people from different professions see and express there thoughts about that.
How do you decide if your design is ready?
I do not really know to ex plane this. For some, I know after two day, for others I need weeks. I just really, can not ex plane.
What is your biggest design work?
I am really proud of my WM coffee table. This is my firs work and that is the work that I work on all year, with lot of people. And while it was beginning I did not know thing that I know now. People, when see this table they know that it is WMD brand. And I got International design award for it on L.A. USA. So because, of that all...
Who is your favourite designer?
Jacobson, Konstantin Grcic and I like e15 brand, Scandinavian design etc.
Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?
I really like skiing in Winter and driving rollers in Summer. Exempt design this two thing are important part of my life.
What positive experiences you had when you attend the A’ Design Award?
I think that people started to think more about WMD product after I got award. For some it is very important that someone on International level say that design is good. It is important for sealing, too. Better seals product that got award.
