Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

I Ended Up in Architecture Because I Did Not Like Engineering and Medical. Then I Really Wanted to Explore What You Can Do in Design . So Then I Started Exploring All the Subjects in Architecture. One of the Subject Was Product Design and I Ended Up Here in This a Design Award

Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

I Am Still a Student Pursuing 5th Year Architecture. But I Do Want to Start My Own Furniture Studio in a While.

What is "design" for you?

Art Its Something That Exits Within the Human. And Design Is Something That Is Explored by Human After the Art Is Learnt. Design Is Something Which Is New All the Time and It Should Be Given More Value Because It Is Going to Be Used by Several Users.

What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

The Award Winning Design Was the Most Favorite as I Spent More Time in Resolving It and Making It Much Better and Better in Terms of Usage , Color, and Scale Etc..,

What was the first thing you designed for a company?

Wall Mount Shelf, Dressing Table,shoe Racks, Tv Unit in My Relatives Firm .

What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?

Something I Feel Like I Am Living My Life Because I Am Doing Something Which Is Not at All There.

What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?

Feels Great and Happy That Everyone Gets to Know My Value/respect in Design

When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?

The Feel When U Get( Is It Peaceful. The Usage of It . The Value Given to It by Either by the Multiple Usage or the Creative Look of It.

From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

A Designer Could Truly Help by Starting Out Small and Helping Peers and Friends Immediately Around Himself and Sharing Skills He/she Has With Them. The Responsibility of Dealing With the Environment Is Just a Effort by Making Every Design Ecologically Sensitive/friendly.

How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?

Designs Are Evolving Well but It Has to Be More Sustainable. People Have to Unite to Make It Ecologically Sensitive in Similar Fashion. I Can Explain It Better if We Have a Face to Face Interview

How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?

My Style Is to Transform the Design According to Time. Hence Time Is the Fourth Dimension Which I Wanted to Explore in Design.

Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?

Bangalore. Culture Really Affected Me a Lot in a Good Way. Bangalore Is Where I Started Doing Things Which Is Random and Thats What That Helps the Design Ideas Evolve . Before Coming to Bangalore I Used to Be Very Rigid Technical Person.

How do you work with companies?

I have interned. Its challenging to show up your design skills and make them give value to it as they think i am still young to make anything extraordinary .

What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?

Its Sketching With Music . So That Helped Me to Get a Rhythm in Design

What are 5 of your favorite design items at home?

I Do Not Have It Yet. But if So It Would Be Coffee Table, Shelf,bed,table,chair

Can you describe a day in your life?

Today . I Am Chilling in My Friends House and Filling This Interview After Having a Great Lunch. She Basically Treated Me. I Just Hope That I Wont Fall Asleep While Filling the Rest of the Interview .

From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?

Negatives Are Paid Less,less Value. Positive Are Creative,trail and Error in Anything , There Are No Rules in It.

Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?

Its Just the Confidence and the Guts You Go Beyond Even Its Time Consuming and the Way You Allot Time for Various Things.

What was your most important job experience?

Space Lab Architecture, Bangalore. That Was the Company Where the Architect Gave Value to My Interest on Furniture Design and Helped Me Even Though He Has Nothing to Do With Furniture Design.

What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why?

Furniture Because the Scale Is Easy to Handle and Not as Huge as Architecture

What are your future plans? What is next for you?

Go to Italy and Learn More About Furniture Design With Great Designers Over There. I Hope Someone Could Help Me With That Since I Am Still a Student.

Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?

I Was Working in Prashant Pradhan Architects, India Last Year. This Year I Am Working in Binaa in Istanbul. Its Basically a Research Firm. I Did Architecture as Undergraduate Course.

How did you become a designer?

Its Just a Passion That Drove Me and Its Kind of a Hobby Activity.

What are your priorities, technique and style when designing?

I Rely on Hand Sketch in the Beginning of Design Stage . Then I Do Physical Model for a 3 Dimensional Design Process. Then the Presentation With Rendering.

Which emotions do you feel when designing?

I Feel Free and Relaxed When I Design. Also I Listen to Music When Designing. The Most Exciting Part of Design Is When I Sketch by Hand Sketch. The Journey of the Design Is Interesting and at the Same Time U Need Patience to Refine the Design in the Best Way Possible.

What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?

It Was During My College Time. I Had a Furniture Design Subject in Second Year of College During My Architecture Course. Later I Kept Sketching Furniture on Later Days on My Personal Interest in That Subject Even After the Course Got Over.

What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?

I Look Forward Always to Create the Most Efficient Furniture Possible.

What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?

Always Rely on Handsketch as It Has the Direct Connection of Thinking From Ideas to Hand . And U Can Use Digital for Presentation

How do you know if a product or project is well designed? How do you define good design?

It Has to Be Well Refined . Sketches Has to Be Done to Get a Good Design Anytime. List of Factors Like Sustainability, Space Saving and More Are Considered to Define a Good Design.

Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?

Travel. I Travel a Lot to Know More About Different Culture and Lifestyle . Right Now I Am Working in Istanbul. Last Year I Was Working in Gangtok, Himalayas, India

Would you tell us more about your work culture and business philosophy?

Its Better to Work Alone as You Get the Complete Freedom. I Can Work From Anywhere I Want. So That I Can Keep Travelling

Normally There Is No Great Job Opportunities for Young Designer . Through a Design Award I Get Some Value.

I Am Currently Pursuing Architecture. We Had a Product Design Subject in 2nd Year. Then I Worked on a Furniture Manufacture Company. So Then I Got Interest.

How did you become a designer?

Design Just Make You to Think Something New Which Is Not There Anywhere in World. And That Is What That Makes Me Feel Alive.

What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?

Multiple Ideas Over a Single Concept Is What That Makes a Great Designer.

What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?

Multiple Ideas in It (Program,function,ease of Access, and the Feel Etc).

What is your day to day look like?

Vernacular and Sustainable Peaceful House With Farming Incorporated in It.

When I Design Something With Happiness and Hard Work. I Feel Great.
