About Maricris Floirendo Brias
Maricris is a designer who works closely with ethnic tribes in the Philippines and helps preserve their native artistry and ways of life. Since everything she uses is natural and produced using traditional methods, all her products are environmentally friendly. She founded TADECO Home as a livelihood project of TADECO Inc., a banana producer in Mindanao, with the intention to support the wives and dependents of the plantation workers. She draws her inspiration for her designs from nature thus creating organic shapes and patterns in her products.
