JATO was established in 2013 as a subsidiary of Jiang & Associates Creative Design Company Limited (Top 100 Giants by INTERIOR DESIGN Magazine in 2019). JATO is a creative, multi-disciplinary and award-winning international design firm specialized in Master Planning, Architecture, Interior Design and Graphic Design. JATO is committed to great design values and we believe Design Inspires Life. With years of design experience in Mixed-use, Retail, Commercial, Work Space and Hospitality venues, our project footprint has been able to reach out and cover many major cities around the globe. JATO believes a good design should maintain a well balance between commercial benefits for the client and joyfulness experience for the public.

In my opinion, design is the sublimation of life, which needs to take into account cultural characteristics, artistic aesthetics, practical functions and customer needs. Therefore, JATO and J&A can acutely understand its characteristics and deeply understand customers' vision and ideals for each project, and put forward appropriate solutions from architectural design, interior design to electromechanical design industry chain. At the same time, we cherish our environment and continue to show our concern for society, nature and the future in our works. From the deep excavation of local culture, the promotion of design concepts, the use of new technologies, and the choice of materials, JATO and J&A gives the greatest respect to nature and humanity, and hopes to contribute to the sustainable development of the environment in the process of rapid urbanization.

A good design is to strike a balance between business and art, which has both artistic temperament and commercial purpose. At the same time, we should combine function, technology and art to achieve a reasonable balance between artistry and function. In addition, it also needs to meet the needs of customers and create enough value for them. This is my understanding of successful design.

As the founder of the company, my responsibility is to run a good team, build a platform for employees, create conditions for them, let them develop their own design capabilities and talents, carry forward the spirit of the team, make the enterprise continue grow, and create more value for the enterprise.

I think many projects in China are very well designed now. But I like the projects of JATO and J&A the most, such as The Museum of Contemporary Art & Planning Exhibition , GALA MALL, Ping'an Financial Center, Qingdao Metro Line 13, Chongqing Youyou Children's Hospital.

China's many well-known first-class real estate developers, well-known financial real estate, technological innovation companies and other related enterprises, such as Huawei, Tencent, Ping An Group, CITIC, Vanke, Longfor and so on.

If I am not a designer, I will become a teacher and devote more energy to the design education, so as to cultivate first-class international design talents for China. At present, the most famous design institutes are all abroad. To some extent, the design education in China is restricted by the system, traditional ideas, and teachers' own vision and insights. Therefore, a large number of design forces are urgently needed in this industry to devote themselves to personnel training and lay the foundation for the long-term development of the industry.
