Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

Since childhood, I have been very keen on the environment. As I grow older, I understand the importance of "beauty" things to life. Therefore, I am determined to engage in aesthetics-related industries, so that aesthetics can be integrated into everyone's life and become a way of life, not an interest or hobby!

Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

I have a expectation for the company; we don't want to rush to expand business volume and rapid development. We expect each case to be handled in a project-oriented manner, designed only for one case and focused on the details. The way to give each owner a perfect dream of the heart, we do not want any regrets and mistakes in the design process.

What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

We don't have a specific style. For design, we hope that through the essence of real materials and delicate handling methods, we can naturally talk through the user's sense of body, no need to explain more.

What is your favorite material / platform / technology?

Natural materials present design texture through extremely low-level man-made processing.

What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?

Integrate yourself into the space to experience the user's feelings

What makes a design successful?

Being able to vacate myself to get close to the user’s inner thoughts

From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

Learn as much as possible about the characteristics of the material and the construction type, avoiding the use of unsuitable materials in the wrong place, but creating an ecological burden! And should avoid over-processing

How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?

Innovation is good, but the old methods are not necessarily outdated. It is possible to add old elements to the new elements through design methods to make a good connection between the old generation and the future. This is the inheritance of culture.The future of design should reduce the load on the environment and ecology through more mature methods, and more thoroughly implement the selection of local materials and natural materials.

When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?

2018 is my first year, and I hope that every year in the future, I will be able to step into the design hall.

Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?

The inspiration for my work comes from the owner's embodiment and interpretation of life. By cultivating the sensitive tax on "beauty", new discoveries can be made in small places where life is inconspicuous.

How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?

We don't have a specific style, but we can't compromise the details of design and construction!! Exquisite and extreme is our attitude towards design

Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?

We live in Taiwan, and the national culture will certainly influence the direction of design because it is part of life; in our national conditions, "Practice geomancy" is a large part of the consideration.

How do you work with companies?

I am the design director myself. Basically, I am the starting point for the company.

What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?

I believe that a good designer is very important to the experience of life!!

Can you talk a little about your design process?

Integrate yourself into the design and experience the user's situation with your heart. Naturally, you will get the best feedback.

Can you describe a day in your life?

It’s very important for me to have physical strength! So my day starts with exercise, bringing coffee on the job site, shuttle between office and design meeting

Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?

To cultivate more self-interest, there should be some ideas and subjective nature for life to be able to be passionate about design.

What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why?

Introverted simplicity;Because it will show a different texture through the time and the user.

Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about?

We have a new "hairy house" case going on, he will be a very relaxing living space.

How did you become a designer?

Since childhood, I have had the characteristics of this detail. With the increase of age, this trait has pushed me to the designer. On the one hand, I have accumulated relevant experience through work-study and half-reading in college, and on the other hand, I am interested. Let me promote the development of a sensitive tax on "beauty"!!

What are your priorities, technique and style when designing?

The first aspect must be based on the user's priority, because the interior design is a tailor-made industry that meets the user's ability to solve the problem! The second aspect is to establish the user's habits and processes, and then through 3D assistance. Complete communication with the owner to avoid errors!

Which emotions do you feel when designing?

I think it is in the stage of designing and thinking, because it can be arrogant!! Through the professional method to implement the original intention of design, after completion, I think that every designer is the happiest time, the feeling that the space under his pen is being implemented is impossible. What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?

I think that for the non-design skills that designers should have, they must have a "heart of the heart" and keep a fresh sense of anything, constantly discovering different viewpoints and angles from the past.

What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?

The road to growth is as explained in the previous paragraph. I think I will continue to study and break through the details!! I want to build my own home from scratch!!

What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?

Don't design for design~ Always remember that design is the way to solve problems and continue to have a passion for design!

What is your day to day look like?

Keeping yourself passionate and working hard to find the fun of life outside of work, this is the source of design

How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?

In fact, design and popularity are closely related. I think that design can be divided into two categories: classic and popular. Of course, in terms of commercial space, it is necessary to meet the trend, but for living space, I think the classic is indispensable! Because no one will want to re-decorate after the retreat

How do you decide if your design is ready?

Being able to meet the expectations of the owner and solve the problem is a complete design

What is your biggest design work?

Be sure to analyze the direction and expectations of the owner, and vote for it!! Using self-experience and professionalism to solve the owner's problem is a good design case! Instead of blindly treating the design as a stage for self-discipline, deviation Original intention

I don't think any design is easy and simple. You have to have a lot of experience and put a lot of energy and time to reach your own requirements. I would like to invest in unpaid design work, especially for students who are still in the learning stage. How did you become a designer?

I want everyone to be able to turn "beauty" into a part of life.

I don't have a specific style and type, but I pay great attention to design and construction details.

You are truly successful as a designer, what do you suggest to fellow designers, artists and architects?

What is your day to day look like?

I will design for my daughter and design a space that is exclusive to her!! Because she is always with us when she is two years old, where can't go, I can't touch it here.

What is your biggest design work?

Tadao Ando’s simplicity is a design I like very much, because the minimalist design has enough space to talk to people.

Who is your favourite designer?

I can't compromise on the details, and the details are my attitude towards design.
