Colors, lights, sensations bring out new solutions, inspirations for different graphics, a new shape, an idea not yet tested. I would travel all the time to "refresh myself" from distant countries, other cultures ... Nature inspires me, art fascinates me, Italy is my country!

Interview with Andrea Brunazzi

Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
I was 14 when I discovered the architect role. I remember Alberto Ponis beautiful villas design in the wonderful Sardinia. Architecture was my dream.
Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
We have a fast moving studio with flexible roles. We work in an effective and quick response open space. The quick and fresh project response is really appreciate by our clients.
What is "design" for you?
Design is like creativity: an unexpected solution to a logically exposed problem.
What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
I am a fanatic of details. The next project would be the most loved one.
When do you feel the most creative?
Our job can be managed anywhere. I need a couple of project at the same time.
What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
Before and after provide me a feeling of good design and problem solving.
What makes a design successful?
If provides good vibes and positive feeling to the user and the oserver.
From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
As designer we must reduce waist and energy cost. As Architect we are guilty for major disaster and social diesase.
How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
We can change the habits of million people. Design has to be part of every product. Without exception.
Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
I am in Torino, north west Italy. A Car manufacturer historical site. The city is finally changing with the reduction of cars and grows other products.
How do you work with companies?
In a quick low formal approach. Creative staff involved in client contact immediately.
Can you talk a little about your design process?
Understanding the production process. Approach with a lateral thinking idea and share other projects experience.
How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?
my last project was a 10 minutes sketch. 14 years to build it. Who knows?
Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
My clients become my friends always. We work together for 10-20 years. I think is a record.
