Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
İ am an architect born for it. After high school i only choosed architecturefaculties for college exams İ do my job with passion
Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
My company designs and builts luxury residental and office projects And i am one of the trendsetters of touching method in my country
What is "design" for you?
Passion , touching peoples lives , giving them their dream places is something so much appreciating
What kinds of works do you like designing most?
Residental projects which means peoples lives as a castle of them The most important places
What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
All projects of mine are my favorite because all of the are custam made
What was the first thing you designed for a company?
Residental villa project, it was for a family with 2 children and approximetly 250 m2 dublex project
What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
Natural materials such as glass, marble and wood But wood material is my favorite and indispensible
When do you feel the most creative?
When i am on my own and listening so much loudly music I dont talk with people while i am designing, whan i feel my self stuck i get my dog and go for a walk and reset my brain If i am stucked so much, i need to go a short trip out of my city By the way i meed fresh brain
Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
Customer needs feats with my knowladge and taste Of course the id of the project is so much important too but first my customers needs
What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
Freedom Passion Love Excitement Sometimes stuck sometimes free
What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
Happiness and excitement İ dont know howmany project ı have finished but every single time i feel like its my first delivery and feel excited so much
What makes a design successful?
İt should be uniq and custom made İt should be functional and also chiq İt should be rarely find and also makes people smile whan people see
When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
İ want to understand the the reason it designed I want to find the answer that if i feel good or bad , if i get excited whan its built
From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
We have lots of reponsibiliteis to care of What you design should be entegrated with the enviroment
How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
Technology ofcourse Sustanibility and protection of enviroment is so much important too
Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
From my customers How they live, what they like everything about them And all that informationsfeat with my taste and knowladge
Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
İstanbul, Turkiye My country is so beautiful and everything in my country inspires me alot
How do you work with companies?
İn a proper plan and timing İ always make brain storm with the companies i work
What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
References are so important İf the company understands what you need and wantand also if they are showing importance about timing hire them
Can you talk a little about your design process?
First a survey with my customers Secondly i have to be with my owm to design ang think deeply and then the techniqul details
What are 5 of your favorite design items at home?
Wall coverings, lighting elements, fabrics, materials, functionalty
Can you describe a day in your life?
İ start my day with my dog first and then 10 am i start my day with meetings , responding my emailsand then after lunch i start controlling my projects on sites
Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
Love your job Launch for new technology, new materials And travel alot
From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?
Sometimes budgets makes problems for customers but on the other way evrtyhing is perfect
Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?
İ do my work in a very principal calender so i have no struggles
Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about?
I have lots of residental projects both designing and constructing all over Turkıye

Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?
ı have been running my company since 2010 and had lots of great experiences about architecture and interior design
How did you become a designer?
when i was a child i just wanted to be an architect and i did iti i am so much in love with my job and addicted by love i am always interested in design since i was 10 and were doing drawings when i was achild
What are your priorities, technique and style when designing?
1. firstly the architecture of the plans are so much important as much as my customers charecters 2. secondly materials are so much important parallel with the budget 3. every design should have a function and a reason to design
Which emotions do you feel when designing?
i am so much in love with designing and so i am so much satisfied by my job. ı need a loud music nad need to be alone while designing my project if i got stuck in any time i need to reset mey self and get a small trip out of my city
What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?
i love travelling so much , i want to explore the world , i want to learn the culters , see new places and all of them contributes my skills
What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?
i want to design lots of residental projects for all over the world. i want to design some hollywood artist houses who i admire such as johhny depp, brad pitt, george cooloney and also singers taylor swift , jennifer lopez and some mor i am so curious about their design tastes and i know one day it will happen
What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?
they should be more curious about evrything and they should travel so mush as much as they can , explore every signle m2 of the world , meet new people and also be curios about the materilas and technology of course
You are truly successful as a designer, what do you suggest to fellow designers, artists and architects?
just travel so much dont cheat be uniqe and inspire from every beauty
What is your day to day look like?
i start my day with a cup of coffee every moorning and then answer my emails and after lunch i start controlling my projects o site mostly at night i do my design because i should be alone and need silence
How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?
i read the arcticles, visit the fairs but mostly i inspire form my trips so world influence s me
How do you know if a product or project is well designed? How do you define good design?
every design should have a reasonable function this is the most important item for me
How do you decide if your design is ready?
when i see my cleients smiley and appreciate face i make my self happy
What is your biggest design work?
i am currently running lots of residental projects at the same time . they are mostly villa and residence projects and all of my projects are special for me
Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?
i am in love with my city İstanbul where i live in . and music is my must have item while i am designing good designs make people life easier in every part, even function and happiness
Would you tell us more about your work culture and business philosophy?
i am a control freak person so it is not so much easy for me to work with partnes i want evrything on time and should be perfect so i control evrtyhing so much budget is the hardest challenge of my professşon beacuse low budgets are a restrictin my ideas so the budgest shoul be reasonable
What are your philanthropic contributions to society as a designer, artist and architect?
i make my customers happy , giving them a peace in their places which makes me happy too

Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?
since i was a child my only passion was being an architect and I was graduated from one of the leading university, İstanbul Technical University S Architecture faculty at 1999 and also had a masters degree at the same faculty at 2002
How did you become a designer?
my big brother is an architect so i lived in architecture and designs since i was a child and admired of being an architect . from my childhood my only passion was being an architect and designing and i did it
What are your priorities, technique and style when designing?
being an architect was my only passion and only aim so i did it and i am so much in love with my job
Which emotions do you feel when designing?
i mostly design luxury homes and residental projects but within these projects i designed lots of brand office projects too
What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?
young designers firstly convinced themselves that being an architect or designer is a job that they should be in love with . to be a good designer they should be very curious about everything , they should travel all over the world to be inspired and the most important thing is they shoul be very concantrated and hard working
What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?
to be uniqe is the most important item i think. you can be inspired by anything but every single item they design should be both functional and chiq a great designer will lead the sector with its designs
What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?
a good design should have some properties; being uniq, being functional, being decorative and being entragrated with modern technology
You are truly successful as a designer, what do you suggest to fellow designers, artists and architects?
a good design will easy your lives in several ways; gives peace whan you arrived the place, being functional when you use, gives what you need to survive your lives
What is your day to day look like?
ı would design public places which affects lots of people such as libriaries, cultural building, art museums
How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?
i want to design boutique uniq hotel projects all over the world and i want to design libriares all over the world
How do you know if a product or project is well designed? How do you define good design?
i think my secret is listening my customers so carefully and understand what they need deeply i make surveys before i start my design and make sure that i will do my best
What is your biggest design work?
my residental projects are liked by lots of people because i am uniq and i design both functional and chiq places i am using naturel materials and pastel tones which feels peace to people
Who is your favourite designer?
the project which won the award is one og my best project , especially the sling wooden curtains attracted people
Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?
they should work so much, search new technology and materials , they should be a good listeners and use their technical knowladge
Would you tell us more about your work culture and business philosophy?
most probably i would be a plastic surgent which i can use my design and techniq knowladge
What are your philanthropic contributions to society as a designer, artist and architect?
they are plain, chiq, functional , well soluted for the needs of customers and they are entagreted with modern technology

i am my own supporter because i am so much in love with my job i work so much and never give up
