A Small House: Prelude A beam of light, a building A chapter in a book, a home Home is where the heart is Windows, an architectural feature, allow us to create a visual vanishing point/allow us to see faraway views, and light to enter the room freely. Through windows, we can experience a dialog between nature and indoor spaces. The floor plan of a home depends on the lifestyle of the owner. By doing away with old ways of defining public and private areas with folding doors in walls and partitions, the use of space itself to connect each area is maximized.
