FA House is a residential interior design for a private house of 205 square meters. The interior was created as a simple living environment for a modern family. The main double-height space is a studio filled with a strong stream of light. The light is reflected by the contrasting wall surfaces and the textured edges of the furniture. A staircase in the double-height space forms the main accent. The railing is made of round metal pipes welded at sharp angles. A separate guest block opens into the studio and supports the privacy of the residents.

EgoHouse Architects's FA House Residential Apartment emerges from contemporary residential design traditions that celebrate the experiential potential of vertical space and the careful orchestration of material, light, and proportion. The work demonstrates a masterful understanding of how architectural volume can be activated through strategic placement of sculptural elements, here manifested in the remarkable cluster of wire-frame pendant luminaires that transform the double-height void into a zone of visual poetry, their organic silhouettes suggesting seed pods or abstract flowers suspended in perpetual bloom. The technical achievement of the floating staircase merits particular attention, its cantilevered treads appearing to hover against the dramatic stone backdrop while slender black steel members provide both structural support and visual rhythm, creating a delicate balance between apparent weightlessness and grounded materiality.
