About Feng Qi Wu Tong Landscape
Feng Qi Wu Tong is a landscape design for a residential quarter in Jiangsu, China, covering 3200 square meters. The layout follows the form of one axis and three courtyards, symmetrical along a central line, giving a formal order outside and a calm artistic mood inside. Suzhou and Tang Dynasty architectural styles are combined with modern design methods and construction techniques. Curved paths, a winding corridor, small courtyards and a rock garden support daily recreation. A rainwater garden formed by plant clusters filters pollutants from surface water.

- Design Challenge
- The block buildings are connected by curved lines. The winding corridor and loop design keep people entertained. The vegetation is elaborately selected to fit the atmosphere of the case in modeling and quality. The relatively open space integrates the scene design techniques of small courtyard, Japanese rock garden, and modern outdoor recreation to meet the daily recreational functions.

- Inspiration
- This case is located near the edge of a lake in Suzhou, a famous ancient garden city in China. The designer integrates the Suzhou architectural style with that of the Tang Dynasty and, coupled with the modern design context and construction techniques, builds a high quality residential quarter that complies with the interests and needs of modern residents.
- Project Duration
- The project was located in Jiang Su China. It was finished in April 2021.
- Operation Flow
