About Wuyuanhe Innovative Office Center
Wuyuanhe Innovative is an office centre located in Wuyuanhe Wetland Park in Haikou, Hainan Province. The building follows a minimalist modern style and is transparent and square in form. The first floor sits beside water, while the folded glazed curtain wall of the second floor joins the indoor space with the surrounding wetland view. A spiral staircase in white aluminium plate and brown leather links the two levels. Floor tiles, wall copperplate and leather sofas in dark brown, beige and green create a calm and harmonious atmosphere.
Eh Design Group's Wuyuanhe Innovative Office Center emerges from contemporary discourse surrounding the transformation of workplace environments into spaces that nurture creativity, collaboration, and contemplative engagement, this interior composition exemplifies the synthesis of refined minimalism with material warmth that has come to define the most thoughtful expressions of corporate hospitality design in recent decades, drawing upon traditions established by modernist masters while incorporating biophilic design principles that recognize the profound human need for connection to natural environments, the technical achievement evident in this space lies in its masterful manipulation of scale and proportion, where the double-height atrium creates vertical grandeur without sacrificing intimate human-scale comfort zones within the carefully arranged seating clusters below, the chromatic strategy demonstrates sophisticated restraint, employing a carefully calibrated neutral palette where warm taupe surfaces engage in subtle dialogue with cool gray and cream tones, while the dramatic nero marquina marble floor grounds the composition with geological depth and lustrous reflectivity, the transparent curtain wall establishes a phenomenological threshold between interior refuge and exterior landscape, inviting the garden prospect to become an active participant in the spatial experience rather than mere backdrop, angular white volumes projecting into the upper space suggest the influence of deconstructivist architectural vocabulary reinterpreted through a lens of serene precision, while biomorphic sculptural elements introduce organic counterpoints that soften the geometric rigor, the work invites contemplation of how architectural space might shape the quality of human interaction and thought, how material choices communicate institutional values, and how the careful orchestration of light, volume, and prospect can transform quotidian workplace activities into experiences of aesthetic enrichment.

- Unique Properties
- The first floor beside water and the second floor with its folded glazed curtain walling perfectly meld the indoor landscape and the outdoor scenery together into a cohesive whole. The sand table achieves the visual effect of appearing to float, with the table edge using a maximized angle and the position of its sections to hide the table's base.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The second floor offers a panoramic view of the outside wetland park through the magnificent glazed curtain walling. The façade is meticulously designed in order to optimize the use of natural light. The folding-paper-esque glass gives the building a unique visual effect. The second floor is around the atrium space of the first floor. The sculptural louver-shaped decoration serves as a clever connection between the two floors, from which one can see the first floor from the second but not vice versa. The afternoon sunlight comes inside, adding some grandeur to the dark brown carpet and the soft wooden ceiling. The beige sofa, the high-end emerald-green stone surface, and the beautiful flowers and plants come together to create a social space for the elites.
- Production Technology
- The white boat-shaped ornaments look both simple and elegant. Meanwhile, the coffee bar offers a multi-functional social space. The white ceiling adopts the same style as the façade, extending the visual depth of the space. The meeting area is mainly set by the windows. Elegant shades of dark brown, beige, and green create a visual connection between different parts of the space. Various materials including the tiles that make up the floor, the copperplate on the wall, and the leather sofa come together to provide a harmonious and minimalist atmosphere, while highlighting the space's overall textural sense. The staircase leading to the second floor is not straight but spiral, creating the journey between floors a more dynamic feel. In such a lofty space, this specially designed staircase looks like an exquisite work of papercraft or origami. Our designer chose white aluminum plate and brown leather to produce a sense of layering.

- The project started in May 2021 in Shanghai and finished in Dec 2021 in Haikou
- Operation Flow
- In addition, there is enough office and conference space to meet the needs of the initial use of the park, being highly harmonious and unified in structure, material, and visual effect. It is a perfect area where one can both enjoy outside views and hold meetings. The salon area on the second floor has a baking table. Sitting by the window and sipping a glass of wine or a cup of tea will be highly conducive to awakening inspiration from within.

- This project is located in Wuyuanhe Wetland Park, Haikou City, Hainan Province. The building adopts a minimalist modern style, transparent and square, showing the endless vitality and innovative spirit of the place. The light and shadow that come into the reception area through the transparent grant the pure white space a solemn and evocative feeling of the future.
