About Blue Tandoor Restaurant
Blue Tandoor is a restaurant interior located in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, covering about 3,500 square feet. Curved ceiling waves recall the dome of the Taj Mahal and give the space a formal character. Geometric arches, lattice work and textured walls refer to South Asian and Middle Eastern styles. Woven wicker lamps, hardwood surfaces and brass accents add warmth. Deep blue tones recall the calm of moonlight. Computer-aided design was used to plan the arch patterns and the spatial layout.
