Architectural design is a game between sense and sensibility. In this project, manmade architecture is modest but not self deprecating, secret but not absent, which itself makes up indispensable memory of the site. Site recognition and memory of history is what gad want to emphasize in this project. Respect to both the natural continuity of mountains and the manmade tiny adjustment for years is emphasized on the design. Music Department buildings in Zhejiang Conservatory of Music is an example illustrating the attitude towards site respecting.
