About The Intelligent Eggshell Lamp Porcelain Nightlight
The Intelligent Eggshell Lamp is a porcelain nightlight that combines hand-made eggshell porcelain with voice control. The shade is formed through more than forty working procedures, repeated fettling and carving, and three firings, giving a wall thickness within 1 mm. Carved points, lines and surfaces glow like a night sky when the lamp is lit. The tapered housing is curved to sit in the hand and resists tipping. The light is switched on and off by voice, so the hands stay free. The design aims to revive a traditional folk craft.

- We are a product design company from jingdezhen, a famous porcelain capital in China and abroad.
We found out that eggshell porcelain, in the past, was the best product for the emperor, with exquisite workmanship. However, at present, they are too traditional and old fashion to be liked by young people.
Therefore, we hope that through modern design language, these folk arts that may not conform to the functions and aesthetics of contemporary society can be revived. - Patents
