About Centennial Shameen Kulturele Ruimte Binnenshuise Ontwerp

Unique Properties
Located at No.41 Shamian Street on the central axis of Shamian Island, the project was built in 1862 with a history of 159 years. Adhering to the concept of protecting and reusing the historical buildings, this project transforms it into a multifunctional composite cultural space that can accommodate different scenes, for example, cultural art exhibition, and tea house for the community.
Dimensions & Packaging
Taking advantage of the 4.55 meter's high ceiling height in the 260 square-meters room, a steel interlayer is inserted to add different layers. It added a mezzanine space with an independent frame structure locally to make full use of the existing space to create more possibilities.
