About Salvador El Rellotge Decoratiu
El rellotge de Salvador és una versió moderna del rellotge fos del pintor espanyol Dalí. El projecte va començar el març de 2020, al començament del primer confinament. Durant aquest període, molta gent a tot el món va sentir que el temps s'ha alentit. El temps líquid i fos es va convertir en la inspiració per al disseny. El repte era crear un objecte desitjable que actualitzés qualsevol oficina a casa i fes més agradable el treball des de casa. La forma senzilla i minimalista permet que aquest article sigui funcional i s'adapti a diferents estils de casa.

- Salvador clock is a modern version of the well-known melted clock by Spanish painter Dali.
Simple and minimal shape allows this item to be functional and stylish at the same time. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- The clock’s body is made from high quality and lightweight aluminum.
There are two finishing options:
matt black powder coating with classic gold hands.
brushed natural aluminum with black hands.
The choice of material came from the willingness to give the clock a slim and contemporary look.
The choice of a quiet clock mechanism was made to emphasize the perception of time moving at a leisurely pace. - Design Challenge
- During the pandemic, people all around the world started to work from home.
The challenge of this project was to create a desirable object that will upgrade any home office and will make the work from home more pleasant. - Research
- During the research, I looked for a perfect shape that will be very functional and stable on a shelf while also aesthetic. The design process included 2D hand sketches, paper and cardboard 3D sketches with different shapes and proportions.
- Inspiration
- The project began on March 2020, at the very beginning of the first lockdown. During this period, lots of people all around the world felt the time has slowed down. Liquid, melted time was the inspiration for Salvador clock.
