Cloud Mountain Type és una tipografia inspirada en les muntanyes de núvols i boira de Zhang Jiajie i en l'antiga pintura paisatgística xinesa. Les formes de les lletres combinen les imatges tradicionals xineses de núvols i muntanyes amb l'estructura de l'alfabet llatí. Cada caràcter està dibuixat a mà i després refinat amb programari d'imatge digital, i la tipografia es pot utilitzar en mides variables. Vista molt de prop, els detalls prenen protagonisme i la lletra es fa difícil de reconèixer, de la mateixa manera que la forma d'una muntanya no es pot veure des del seu cim.

Combined the traditional Chinese clouds landscape with western character. The Chinese saying: You cannot recognize the shape of a mountain when you stand on it. When you stare at the details of the font, you even can’t recognize the letter itself, that is because you have already stand on the cloud-fog mountains.
