About Softline Tassa de Cafè, Bol

Softline és una tassa i bol portàtil fet de porcellana amb una tapa de silicona. La col·lecció inclou dues mides, 300 cc i 350 cc, que segueixen els estàndards de tasses per emportar. La mida de 300 cc també es pot utilitzar com a bol per a granola, amanida de fruites o un batut. La tapa de silicona proporciona aïllament tèrmic i manté l'aliment o beguda de manera segura a l'interior. El forat per beure de la tapa està col·locat amb un angle de tres graus per ajudar a protegir els llavis de la calor. Els colors provenen d'una tècnica d'esmaltat reactiu, amb superfícies brillants i mates. Softline té com a objectiu reduir l'ús de gots de paper.

Unique Properties: With the theme "To go Mug", "Softline" is designed for coffee lovers. Thanks to its form, it can be used both for drinking coffee and as a bowl (Granola, Fruit Salad, smoothie etc.) It offers heat insulation with its silicone cover while keeping your food or coffee safe inside. It also offers a fun use thanks to its different color combinations, glossy and matte surface.
Dimensions & Packaging: The collection consists of 2 types of volumes. Conforms to 300cc and 350cc "To go" mug standards. 300cc mug can also be used as a bowl.

Softline glasses, which take their color from the specially developed reactive glaze technique, were produced using environmentally friendly and healthy materials.
Design Challenge: It provides an aesthetic appearance and ease of use with its soft form line. The challenge was creating that form, which fits hand and making a fun looking cup at the same time. Therefor our goal is to reduce the use of paper cups.
Research: We observed that coffee lovers enjoy drinkinig their coffees hot. So Unlike standard Mug lids, the drinking hole on the lid is designed with a 3 degree angle. Thanks to this feature, it prevents the lips from burning. Another point of our research was sustainability in daily usage products. It is designed to reduce the use of paper cups and plastic containers in the food and beverage industry, while continuing our sustainability journey.
Inspiration: The motivation behind the project was adding a different experience to coffee drinking culture. Coffee is a routine for most of us. However, we wanted to go beyond this routine and add a little playfulness. Thanks to its different color combinations, glossy and matte surfaces and big range in colour options you can choose the one for your pleasures. Portability is also important for a coffee addict person which we considered this and adapt to our design. Softline mugs are always portable with its silicone lids and use as a storage container and bowl. In this way its giving the user many advantages as we desired.
Project Duration: 2021 Winter, Istanbul, Turkey
Operation Flow: Softline glasses, which take their color from the specially developed reactive glaze technique, were produced using environmentally friendly and healthy materials for coffee lovers. You can be the barista of your home with forms suitable for every kind of coffee and products that will highlight the flavors you want.
