Longfang Bridge és un disseny d'il·luminació de paisatge nocturn per a un pont viari i de vianants a Wenzhou, Xina. El pas combina un pont principal amb dos ponts de vianants, construïts amb tubs d'acer farcits de formigó pintats de vermell. Els ponts de vianants utilitzen llum càlida de 2200K per contrastar amb l'estructura vermella, mentre que el pont principal utilitza llum de 4000K per al trànsit. Els banyadors de paret i els projectors estan amagats dins de l'estructura. Tres modes d'il·luminació serveixen per als dies laborables, els caps de setmana i les festivitats. Propietats Úniques: Located in Nantang Cultural Tourism Zone and Wenruitang River Scenic Belt in Wenzhou, Longfang Bridge is a critical project for integrating vehicle and pedestrian traffic as well as expressing Tanghe Culture. Our lighting design aims to strengthen the spatial hierarchy of the bridge structure and merge the structure into the canal town environment.

Tecnologia de Producció: While both pedestrian bridges use 2200K highsaturation lights to enhance contrast between warm yellow lights and red-painted structure, the main bridge uses 4000K low saturation lights to provide functional lighting for traffic and stand out from the yellow lights. Lighting effect is managed by an intelligent control system with timer and sensor to automatically switch off individual lights at midnight or when daylight is sufficient.
Repte de Disseny: The bridge was designed to have a structure of one main bridge with two pedestrian bridges on both sides and the concrete-filled steel tubes were painted in red. The lighting design needs to strengthen the spatial hierarchy of the bridge structure and merge the red-painted structure into the canal town environment.
Our design expresses spatial hierarchy and local culture through the contrast of lighting design colour tones and brightness between main bridge and pedestrian bridges.
Recerca: The lighting design of Longfang Bridge is based on both technical and cultural field researches. Designers conducted researches on other bridges along Wenruitang River Scenic Belt to extract the overall design style of bridges in Nantang Cultural Tourism Zone. DIALux has been used to adjust the luminaire type and calculate the overall illumination. Various kinds of lights were brought to the laboratory for testing as well as the construction site and were chosen by their real performance.
Inspiració: Our lighting design concept is to light up the bridge to correspond to National Emblem of the People's Republic of China, which has a strong colour contrast and internal culture. Lighting integrates with the structure of bridge and merges the bridge with the quiet, peaceful and romantic atmosphere of Jiangnan canal town, turning Longfang bridge into an iconic local tourist attraction over Wenruitang River.
Durada del Projecte: Longfang Bridge nightscape lighting design project was built in Aug. 2021 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China.
Flux d'Operació: Three lighting modes are set for weekdays, weekends and general festivals, as well as important events and festivals. Wall washers and flood lights hidden in the structure run in single colour in weekday mode, and lights for handrails will have a single colour dynamic lighting effect on weekends and general festivals. As for important events and festivals, ten theme scenes of dynamiccolour-changinglightingeffect are preset to add to the festive atmosphere.
