About Nudibranch Hotel a resort

Nudibranch je hotel a resort nacházející se na ostrově Nanji v provincii Zhejiang v Číně. Návrh o rozloze 31 000 metrů čtverečních je inspirován mořskými živočichy vyskytujícími se v okolí ostrova, jako jsou nazí plži a další měkkýši. Budova je vyzdvižena na měkkých nohách, které propojují terén s restauracemi, bary, lázněmi a bazénem. Veřejný prostor připomíná plovoucí prostranství nad pískem. Písčitý povrch se rozprostírá až do interiéru hotelu a vytváří venkovní hřiště ve stínu. Ekologické technologie snižují dopad na životní prostředí.

Unique Properties: The building blends the boundaries between the building and the landscape by its organic form and flexible connectivity; it sits on the site like a nudibranch crouching on the peaceful bay. Many Eco-friendly technologies have been installed to minimize the environment impact.
Dimensions & Packaging: 31000 Sq Meters
Inspiration: The design is inspired by sea creatures, which the island is famous for, such as nudibranch and other shellfish. This “mollusk” lifts itself by its soft legs and stretches its tentacles to explore different directions.The public part resembles a floating space above the sand. The sandy ground blends into the hotel to become an outdoor playground in the shadow cast by the building above. The legs connect the ground to restaurants and bars, and the SPA and swimming pool to to the public space.
