About M Two Dům

M Two je dům nacházející se na okraji vesnice na kopci v Limassolu na Kypru. Design a použité materiály odpovídají přírodní krajině a respektují tradiční vesnickou architekturu, přičemž zároveň přinášejí moderní estetiku. Půdorys sleduje tradiční tvar písmene pí, který vytváří klidný a ergonomický přechod mezi interiérem a exteriérem. Rodinné a společenské prostory se vzájemně prolínají, ale zároveň fungují nezávisle a v případě potřeby nabízejí soukromí. Čtyři obytné zóny umožňují vychutnat si všechny aspekty výhledu na hory a moře. Barevná paleta využívá přírodní odstíny béžové, hnědé, zelené a modré barvy.

Unique Properties: Located at the outskirts of a village, the design and materials of the house suit both the natural landscape and respect the traditional village-house designs but with a modern aesthetic. The layout is a traditional ‘pi’ Π shape that gives a calm and ergonomic flow between interior and exterior. We wanted the family and public spaces of the house to blend seamlessly but function independently and offer privacy where needed. Four living areas allow all aspects of the view to be enjoyed.
Inspiration: The inspiration came from the immediate environment. It is on a hill with uninterrupted views of both mountain and sea. It is north facing and perfectly orientated for the sun, light, air and views. We wanted a seamless flow between the interior and exterior so that wherever you are in the house, you would always have a beautiful outlook. With the native landscape as our palette, we used natural colours of beige rock, brown wood, mountain olive greens and blue water to reflect the facing Mediterranean Sea.
