Restful je mobilní aplikace navržená pro spánek a meditaci. Aplikace využívá dynamickou barevnou paletu, která přechází ode dne k noci a provází uživatele od bdělosti k relaxaci. Domovská stránka a stránka meditace mají světlé rozhraní, zatímco stránka spánku používá tlumené tmavé tóny, které snižují oslnění obrazovkou. Uživatelé si mohou vybrat vedené mindfulness lekce, spánkové příběhy nebo uklidňující zvuky. Mikrointerakce a adaptivní doporučování obsahu personalizují celý zážitek. Rozvržení je utvářeno principy přístupnosti, takže lidé s různými potřebami se mohou na obrazovkách snadno orientovat.

Unique Properties: Restful stands out with its seamless day-to-night transition, using a dynamic color palette to naturally guide users from wakefulness to relaxation. The Home and Meditation pages feature a bright, engaging UI, while the Sleep page shifts to muted dark tones that reduce screen glare and encourage melatonin production. Thoughtful micro-interactions, adaptive content suggestions, and accessibility-focused design ensure an inclusive and personalized experience for all users.

Production Technology: Restful was designed with Figma, using user-centered design methodologies, A/B testing, and iterative prototyping.
Design Challenge: The biggest challenge was balancing aesthetic appeal with functional accessibility. The day-to-night UI transition required extensive color testing to ensure smooth visual adaptation without abrupt shifts. Another challenge was integrating science-backed sleep and meditation principles into an interface that felt intuitive and engaging while minimizing cognitive load. Ensuring readability and inclusivity for diverse user demographics was also a key focus.
Research: This project involved qualitative research, usability testing, and color psychology studies to understand meditation and sleep behaviors. The research explored habit formation, cognitive load reduction, and engagement patterns, using semi-structured interviews with 14 participants. These findings shaped the app's adaptive interface and content personalization strategies.
Inspiration: Restful draws from behavioral psychology, sleep therapy techniques, and meditation practices to provide a holistic, user-centered experience. It is designed to nurture mental and physical well-being, offering tailored content for both adults and children. By creating a calming bedtime ritual, Restful fosters long-term wellness, helping users achieve deeper rest and a more balanced life. The app empowers families to build healthy sleep habits together, creating peaceful moments that enhance both sleep and mindfulness.
